Bioła (regional form of biała) pajęczyna

Wow. Did you know this rural rhyme/song before? I never heard of it. It has 4 stanzas. I tried to find it on youtube, to no avail.

I read all parts of Tomek Wilmowski series, some of them a few times. This one above was the most boring of all and I read it only once.Szklarski`s Native American saga was much more interesting.

Duda is the best choice as it always comes down to the lessor of two evils in any election.

johhny, I am so proud of you and your interest in Polish issues. I am serious now.

Now, what do you think as an expert - how long will conservatives hold power in Poland? Currently the tug of war between two groups, progressives and cons, is exactly in the centre: 50% vs 50%. Is Poland going to become more pro or con in the future?

And I will laugh and laugh and laugh (at supporters who voted for Duda).

Yes, maf, but that will be laughter through tears coz PiS is trying to turn back the tide which is a useless thing to do, knowing the Polish propensity to imitate the West in all aspects of life. They won`t stop the inevitable changes, they can only delay them a little, but still their futile attempts will be doing more damage to the country and society`s unity. .

as for those other 2 young blokes- I wouldn't want to meet them coming home at night...

PiS released a funny video in which "Konfederacja men" encourage to vote for Duda.

Real Konfederacja men are pissed off. Can`t they take the joke?? hahahaha

My dear, that`s a prelude to events which will take place if Duda wins. PiS will set up their own Konfederacja to replace the original one. Bolsheviks, PiS`s role models, successfully performed such tricks a few times in the past.

Actually, they carried out more than half of their promises. Certainly not worse than PiS.

PIS has the same problem and is torn by corruption scandals like PO.

Yet, there is a huge difference in fighting corruption: during PO rule, culprits lost their positions.

During PiS, they keep their positions and money and business runs as usual.

The golden age is long past.

That`s sad. I even heard Americans can`t travel to Europe right now.

If there are any "greener pastures" left, they are probably in Asia.

Yes, I heard that native English speakers can immediately find a teaching job in China or Vietnam. But that was a few years ago so it could have changed.

Do Poles have a difficult time understanding Americans when they speak English?

I think so. That is why, when I want to lift my students` spirits about learning ESL, I recommend or even play for them some videos with British politicians who speak in the Parliament. Or even the Queen herself. My students are thrilled coz they understand almost everything.

Read the report I linked too. Poles eat more potatoes than we do, on a per capita basis.

Less and less each year. I have potatoes once or twice in a fortnight, coz I prefer rice or buckwheat.

Already in caveman times the nuclear family was the norm.

Of course not. At first, biology imposed extended family. When people were still apemen, they lived in big groups. Like monkeys today.

In songs? You probably listened to niche rap or postpunk. So why did you mention mainstream pop and rock groups before?

That's why I couldn't listen to Italian progressive rock bands.

What other languages have caused a problem to you? Do you complain about it in other fora, too?

Disgusting but understandable - they ordered special polls which cost millions but learnt that some Poles, properly provoked, will be influenced negatively by the issue and will vote in fear rather than in reason..
