@Novichok, also, from what I understand, people who are in favour of abortion on demand don't claim that they're in favour of it to "save women's lives". They usually are in favour of it, because they think it's the woman's right to decide about abortion since it's her body and her life that gets most affected. Whose demonstrations? I don't know who exactly took part in those mass demonstrations - I'm guessing that there was a mix of people with different views simply united against the current law made by PiS. So, it's possible that something that may satisfy the majority of those protesters, won't satisfy a more radical minority that will be still doing some smaller protests even if a somewhat less strict law will be passed.

Well, sorry, but we don't have a crystal ball and we can't predict what Polish society will be like in 50 or 100 years and what will the views and abortion law be like then.

The final bill will be most likely the result of a compromise between the three parties making up the current opposition coalition. Unless they make a referendum.

And you think that worrying and stressing out over the possibility of the parents or grandparents of those youngsters dying from the pandemic didn't affect them in any way? When I was a kid during the 90s my biggest worry and constant stress was that my parents will get fired from their jobs and that my father will turn into a complete drunk then, like the "strong" neighbour above our flat, whose wife had to borrow money from my mother. I wasn't worrying that they'll catch a virus and die after a random visit to a shop.
