kaz200972
Abortion needs to be legal in every country and easily available up to 16 weeks - claims kaz200972

Why stop at 16 weeks. Wouldn't partial-birth abortions up into the 32nd and 34th week be even better. That way some of the organs could be used on the human body-parts market and the unmother and her partner (if she can find him) would have themselves some extra drug and drinking money! Those unfamilair with this more 'progressive' form of abrotion, read on:

* Registered nurse Brenda Pratt Shafer witnessed several partial-birth abortions while working for an Ohio abortionist. She described one of these abortions in a letter to Congressman Tony Hall:

The baby's body was moving. His little fingers were clasping together. He was kicking his feet. All the while his little head was still stuck inside. Dr. Haskell took a pair of scissors and inserted them into the back of the baby's head. Then he opened the scissors

up. Then he stuck the high-powered suction tube into the hole and sucked the baby's brains out.

powder? What ya talkin about? Cocaine? Talcum powder?

Apparently you're not a native speaker of English. To take a powder means to split, disappear, vanish or make like a tree and leave! Or wziąć nogi za pas....

Sorry for the gibberish. Yes, haste makes waste! It should have been more or less like this:
Wouldn't it be horrible to be able to send your 12-year-old daughter to summer camp and know that she would not be molested by a counsellor. Wouldn't it be horrible if there were fewer sperm-spewing foot-loose daddies getting women pregnant and then taking a powder...

Once again, my profuse apologies for the fractured paragraph!

Imagine what a horrible world it would be if more people tired to be decent, honest, truthful and altruistic?. Wouldn't it be horrible to be able to leave your kid's bike on the porch overnight and still find it there the next day? Imagine all those costly closed-circuit cameras (which we consumers and taxpayers have to bankroll throuhg the nose) weren't needed because shoplifting and other misdeeds were only a peripheral problem. Wouldn't it be horrible to be able to send your 12-year-old got women pregant and then took a powder occurred only very rarely? Wouldn't it be horrible if more families made an effoft to solve their problems through compromise rather than always wanting to come out on top? Wouldn't it be horrible if there were no messy custody battles and parental abductions?

Idealistic and impossible? Maybe so, but only because our standards have fallen so low. Becuase people aren't trying to be decent. Because they have fallen prey to the 'anyhting goes' propaganda churned out by our cheap and and trashy commercial pop culture. And beacuase people like you have swallowed that propaganda hook, line and sinker and actually equate debauchery and loose living with the 'good life'.

Does the sex/pûrn industry pay you to write such stuff? Or do you actually believe debauchery to be the wave of the future that guarantees universal happiness?

Nobody should be shot, but all depravatory contents shoudl be properly regulated. The pre-permissive society managed quite well and enjoyed majoirity support. Thta is until the counterculture epidemic started gradually spreading its toxins and infecting increasingly wide circles of society. Debauchery should not be the norm.

History / Battle of Vienna - history movie about Poland / Commemoration [36]

Do you think it implies allusion to our times?

The hordes are already here (in the US and Western Europe). Poland (being the backward country that it is) is still a relatively safe haven from militant Islam. It should join the 'modern' global world (as so many on PF seem the be advocating) and not only turn Warsaw into a poor man's Amsterdam but throw open the floodgates to Arab immigration. Soon Poland would be just as 'modern' and happly (?) as the West!

News / Abortion still under control in Poland [2986]

At the root of the problem is not legal aboritons on demand or underground abortion mills, condm use or non-use, sex ed or its absence, Catholic standards or not... to blame are the shakers, movers, moulders and, yes! exploiters of the permsisive society. Those are the ones who rake in the profits from adverts, music, films, celebrity scandals, MTV and the news media promoting pansexualism, brainwashing youngsters with sexual imagery and connotations roiund-the-clock. Recently parents in Arizona protested agaisnt a sex ed class graphcially demonstrating vaginal, oral and rectal sex to 12 year olds and showing them how to instal a condom. Such technical instruction devoid of an ethical context is one of the reasons for all the problems.

Codes must be enacted to regulate the dissemination of child-harming depravation by all the media including the net.

Sex ed is OK but only if it properly defines the moral and social implicaitons of the marriage act, convincingly stigmatises premarital copullion and shows dying AIDS patients desperately gasping for air or the genital areas of VD patients covered with unsightly rashes and ***** sores -- things that will scare the living daylights out of youngsters and make them think twice.

A women can self-mutilate or do anything else to her own body, as long as it does not effect the health and wellbeing of the innocent baby developing beneath her heart. Life imprisonment is too lenient a penalty for sharks of the abortion industry.

The Sejm has rejected out of hand a proposal by the anti-clerical pro-libertine Palikot group to expand the legal murder of the unborn. But the MPs have accepted for further processing a Solidary Poland proposal to ban abortions when there exists a high probability of serious foetus damage.

History / Battle of Vienna - history movie about Poland / Commemoration [36]

A long-awaited blockbuster showing teh triumph of Christan europe over the invading Muslim hordes goes on release this Friday in Poland and dozens of other countries as well. Not a good review from one of the viewers though:

1683, one of the few dates in the rich history of Polish waking so much excitement and pride in that we tek a rich and colorful history that makes us mega pride, on the other hand, looking at the film Battle of Vienna begin to ask questions about what's going on with this film whether it is a pastiche of a movie or the director crossed the fine line that I can safely identify a total farce combined with infantile cinema . So fantastic about it! so fantastically spoil ? already in itself is a feat truly admirable . I 'm sorry that I can not write about the qualities and positive aspects of this film because it is kept in a climate of total trash with a combination of hopeless acting, even though I have for great esteem Piotr Adamczyk I can not even find a single positive in this film and I've tried .

Genealogy / THE MEANING AND RESEARCH OF MY POLISH LAST NAME, SURNAME? [4500]

CHYBICKI was the original spelling. Root-word chyba (archaic for error, blunder, fault, shortcoming).. Probably a topo nick from Chybice.
Hypothetical development: someone nicknamed Chyba (for whatever reason) fathered a son patronymically known as Chybic. When several sons built their own homesteads near the family home, the little nascent settlement became known as Chybice -- Chyba Corners, Chyba Acres or the Chyba Sons place.

Would there have been more bilingual signs if Lusatia were within Poland? Or less? Poles are good about bilingual signs in Opole and around Puńsk.

History / Lusatia allied with Poland? [19]

Have you ever wondered whether Lusastia, the tiny Slav nation within eatsern Germany's broders, would have survived better or worse if the Big Three Allies had assigned it to Poland or granted it independent status under Polish protection. By survive I mean preserving its unique language and culture. Probably splitting it up and assigning the southern Lusatian groiup to the Czechs and the northern one to Poland would have accelerated assimilation and possibly by now not left even a trace of the language. What is yoru take on this?

Language / Burak or redneck? [36]

The term underlcass is loosely used by many Ameircans to mean, for instance, people like slumdwellers -- those who live in 'dangerous' neighbourhoods where drugs (crackhouses), prostituion and crime are rampant, tenants are way behind in theri rent, many have had utilities disconnected for nonpayment of bills, most kids are school drop-outs, very few know who there father, and drug dealers and rappers are looked up to as role models. There are neighboruhoods like this in every American major city (in other countries as well), but we are discussing the American underclass here.

Actually,. come to think of it, there are many similar dergotory terms besides hick -- not all of them too current -- including hayseed, yokel and rube -- usually referring to backward farmers. Hence hick town.

Language / Burak or redneck? [36]

So basically your are saying a redneck is an underclass regardless of accent or geography, more of a state of mind and personal values, habits and standards than anything else. Do you believe it to be synonmous with trailer trash, white trash and hilbilly?

So what about some of the speicific traits of Poalnd's legendary 'burak'?

Language / Burak or redneck? [36]

Are the Kiepskis regarded as buraki, or are they urban lumpenproles?. In the US we also have the term trailer trash (people living in caravans parks) and hillbillies (to northerners all southerners are sometimes called that). Interestingly, a southern accent means just the opposite in the US and UK.

Language / Burak or redneck? [36]

Here are some of the traits American stand-up comic Jeff Foxworthy has listed. You are a redneck if:
**You have lost at least one tooth opening a beer bottle,
**Your boat has not left your driveway in 15 years,
**Jack Daniels makes your list of 'most admired people',
**You have a special baseball cap just for formal occasions,
**There is more dishes in your sink than in your copboards.
**Your wife has a beer belly and you find it attractive.
**You think the stock market has a fence round it,
**You think mud rasslin' should be an Olympic sport,
**You list your parole officer as areference,
**There are more fish on your walls than pictures...

Polish TV film-dialogue translators regularly translate redneck as burak. The two terms are close, but are they identical? . How do you (native speakers of Polish) define burak? What traits must such a one display?

I'm clinging to the złoty heritage going back to the 1660s. The Soviet-installed communist episode was but a passing nightmare.

Following, observing, expessing opinions or covering events in a given country is not interfering. If you lay down Rejtan style in the road to block Saturday's Freedom Marrch that would be interfering. But just praising that crook Tusk is simply stupid, but not interfering.

I heard you and rejected your sophistic (as always) justification. It'd be like saying the British monarchy began with Elizabeth II. Some hair-splitting nitpicker could surely find some minor points and peripheral reasons to allege that the preceding monarchies were different and therefore it really all began in 1950s.

Poles call them 'szkiełko i oko'* types -- all calculators, columns of figures and e-gadgets but no heart or soul.

There was once a bloke called Mickiewicz, but you wouldn't know about that.
