News / What should Poland do with the problem of Belarus? [1800]

None of the people convicted there were immigrants.

Bullsh*t, there was million+ paki immigrants that were set to be deported, that got a fake refugee pass under the idealistic and former marxist blair minister barbara roche. Yes they got a english passport under a fake refugee classification under tony blair. Unless you were saying they were the rapist sons of the migrants that came in the 70s and that's fine, well that does wonders for the mass media and notesfrompoland claims of migrant integration and it's all fine kumbaya, they will be euro sweet like us.

incompetent Polish regime's

Vast majority of poles support and believe the government is doing a competent job. enjoy being the 10 percent, who the poles hate yelling and screaming about it, but you are helping PiS get relelected by your rightous outrage. , no matter how much you try and hide it on PF, more protests please! free the refugees! thank you.

it isn't.

We are discussing pakistani rural immigrants, religion is one of the predominant factors.

There is no evidence

There is a lot of pressure in muslim communitiies to go to mosque every week or every month, kinda like catholic sons and daughters in poland.

I concede that religion is not the full story but selling 14 year old girls to multiple men a night, branding them with a hot iron, spitting on them, dumping them in the middle of nowwhere after being raped by 4+ men is not something a native englishman would do. The mothers of the muslim perps yelling at the sexual abuse victims and calling them wh*rs in court is proof enough.

Not in Rotherham

Have you attended mosque and understand arabic to know that for a fact? The real problems started when tony blair opened the flood gates and instead of a principled quota migration system it was , as one of his ministers said, we sent out search boats for migrants.

This is a distraction

Yes you are really batting an atrocious wicket, old chap i'm afraid, i'm quite willing to bowl a yorker but in the interests of english chivalry let's get back on topic.

religious? All the evidence suggests that it was anything but...

Don't be silly. It was a cultural issue and in some cultures religion is a very strong factor. The ultra-conservative Deobandi sect control most of the sunni mosques in england with their preachings of the immorality of the western women and that kafirs are unclean. Funnily enough most of the mosques in Iraq, where you lived , would be way more moderate than the ones in Rotherham and U.K. spectator.co.uk/article/who-runs-our-mosques-

very little hope there. It is a dump, and one that people will literally risk their lives

Come on, we are not talking about Yemen or Afghanistan here, it is peacefull, it is ethnically and religiously autonomous, and for the middle east it is relatively prosperous. The only kurds that are making the journey to belarus are the ones are the young middle class, who can afford 10k, and have figured out that they can pay off the people smugglers now or on a two year payment plan from the german social security payments of 1000 euro a month ,after that they're scot free and shangri-la to living the euro lifestyle and also sending money to relatives in kurdistan.

Life / Good account of Poland's Andrzejki? [23]

It seems this holiday came from the Scots, due to the Scottish migration during the time of Queen Maria Sobieska and Charles Edward Stuart. Saint Andrew is the national saint of Scotland and which is why Scotland has an X in their flag. (St Andrew was crucified on an X shaped cross.) St Andrews Day is a time of merriment and partying in scotland, i wonder if this applies to to Poland as well, though with young women looking for husabands that is a given.

What an excellent time for Russia to invade.

No point invading if you can starve and bankrupt a country, the electoral results will fall your way eventually. Zelenski was elected on appealing to the russian speakers and getting away from the militancy of Poroshenko. He has done the opposite, and unless democracy is abolished in Ukraine, the next government will be elected on making peace with Russia

On Polsat News there was footage of a young kurdish migrant, burning his Iraqi Passport in the campfire, saying it will be easier to get asylum in Germany if he claims he is from Syria What is the go with Iraqi Kurdistan?, a few years ago it was regarded as the switzerland of Iraq. I do believe the Kurds still have autonomy there and the area is relatively wealthy. I guess that is why the young men can afford the 10k to get to Belarus.

the number of Russian 'assets' in Polish public life.

Yes most of them are the ones talking about human rights before border security, refusing to support building the border wall and support negotiating with lukashenko .

Polish government mustn't used the rhetorics of calling refugees a "weapon". What an ultranationalism! It's a shame! Be ashamed of yourselves!",

Sounds like something you would write on the notesfrompoland FB page jon. Though for better or worse you have learnt to hold your cards close to your chest on PF.

this is what i found. nice maybe i will score a wife at the event
"In Poland, the holiday Andrzejki is celebrated on the night of the 29th through 30 November. Traditionally, the holiday was only observed by young single girls, though today both young men and women join the party to see their futures.

Here husbandless women believe they are able to predict their future husband's occupation by pouring hot wax through a keyhole into water - the wax forming to resemble the shape of their occupation."

Hopefully it's just my paranoia.

Yes it is, you should see a psychiatrist for your mental illness. The conspiracy theory that kaczynski is using the migrant crisis to move closer to putin (who he blames for his brothers death) is up there with nanobots in the vaccines.

Merged:

Zabawa Andrzejkowa/St Andrews Day

I got invited to Zabawa Andrzejkowa/St Andrews Day at our local Polonia, and was wondering if anyone has any knowledge on the history and customs of this event. From the invite graphic it seems it has some sort of Pagan influence , with debauchery involved?

absolutely everything, will depend on the course and outcome of the war.

So now you're not so sure? The crux of the matter is the working class deserve perpetual wage increases and that is impossible with the impacts of mass migration.

It won't be.

Why are you so sure? It's forseeable that the european left will adopt the radical immigration and integration policies of the Danish Social Democrats in the next 10 years, this will be triggered by the invetible economic downturn/crash.

and large-scale migration is the future for the next century.

Highly unlikely if Fortress Europe is competently executed in the next 10 to 20 years. It's the will of the residing working class after all

Poland will have to pick up the entire expense for the wall.

A majority of European countries want the EU to pay for border walls, so the situation might change in the next year or two.

People can scoff at the Daily Mail, I think it offers more indepth reporting and photo/graphic explainers than most, this on the ground report regarding the migrants on the border being one. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10172639/IAN-BIRRELL-reveals-Belarus-flown-thousands-migrants-Middle-East-Africa.html.

"I was stuck in the forest for 11 days - it was like a game of ping-pong. The Polish police send you back to Belarus, then the Belarus police send you back to Poland. It happened to me about 20 times. The Poles were friendly, giving us food and water, but the Belarusians beat people and let their dogs bite you."

No I don't think so, there would be no organsations to sponsor, as anarchists are against heriachy and actually having a structure to support. The only time we had an organisational structure was for specific direct action which was then later dissolved as soon as the event was over. The USSR had many youth socialist organisations to support instead in australia , not give money to people that hate them.

Haha, that doorknob wants to do that?

that's the problem with PO, they a ragtag bunch of opportunists, jachira wants to do that, fancysiek wants to do the opposite, when they are in power they will not achieve anything except suck up to germany, at least PiS and Konfa have a vision and a focused conviction even.

That is rightist wishful thinking

Funny you using that as a pejorative , when you are a rightist economically. Part of that Jachira faction in PO , that wants to get rid of 500+, cut social services and have a thatcher like small governemnt.

Real Estate / Water Leak Damage in Apartment [16]

But he's still liable to repair the damage and should do so as soon as possible.

Yes , I don't know how insurance works in poland, but in australia the insurance companies have their preferred builders who will provide a quote for the job and do the work themselves. So the landlord might be afraid that if he does the work on his own, the insurance company will provide a stooge that will give a quote half the price the landlord has paid.

The mold and open ceiling damage can't be left alone for 30 days

It's a tricky one as mold can be dangerous but also seems strange to hassle the landlord when it is his property that has been destroyed. Cargo you need to give a more clear opinion on what you would do as landlord. It seems the landlord is being normal polish and not trusting insurance company until he has money in his hand. I guess the tenant could move out with no penalty if he feels the place is unsafe?

Communism was OK to most anarchists,

The hate goes deep, from the bolsheviks shutting down the soviet workers councils and murdering the anarchists to the spanish civil war, where the anarchists achieved autonomous units and localism, then the USSR funded communists took over the rebellion and murdered the anarchists once again. (and lost the civil war) It is detailed in George Orwells eyewitness book The Road to Catalonia which is one of the reasons he wrote Animal Farm.

You know the story of the new MP coming into the Brittish Parliament? His mentor points across the benches and says 'these are your opponents'. He then points to the people on his side of the benches and says 'And these are your enemies.'

you were connected with anarchists in the past

If you weren't such a neo-liberal shill with virtue signalling characteristics you would know that anarchists are dead set against communism and state socialism. So pipe down and go back to dreaming about getting rid of 500+

Sick burn by Mateusz at the end. To paraphrase "today is a symbolic day in poland , in 1984 the priest Jerzy Popiełuszko was murdered today by the communist authorities. Solidarity and Fighting Solidarity of who I was a member of were fighting for freedom and democracy. And some of the people here in the parlament were on a completely different side. That is also symbolic what side they are on now and what side we are on."

That begs the question which side were you on in 84 jon since you were part of the far left unions and militant faction of labour? There is a big chance you swallowed the lie that solidarity was a cia backed plot to destroy communism in poland

Nowa Lewica at their conference voted to abolish polish passports and have a single european passport, (wow such an important issue to poles) it seems they are all set for recreating another failed utopian state.

You obviously did not listen to the speech, he expressly specified why the polish tribunal ruling was valid, said the PO judge on the ECJ stated the same in 2005 and noted many other tribunals in european countries have decreed the same thing. (supremacy of national laws when it is outside the areas covered by the lisbon treaty) He also told the caviar quaffing paralmentarians that if they want to turn Europe into a suprastate where nation-states lose their sovereignty then they have to get consent of every country and society and not just push on in arrogant conceit.

Is this what morawiecki wrote for his european law textbook? , it says certain of their provisions and if applicable. it also mentions the treaties in the preceding pragraph, therefore if there is a european judgement that is outside of the treaties it is not applicable. no one back then could have foreseen that a european court would be so politicized and so brazenly try and usurp the power of the nation state. nice try tho, back to the drawing board i guess?

A place I'd like to visit.

The people are more polite than australians, historically they treated the indigineous a lot better (the brittish signed a treaty with the maori and kia ora is said at the start of the 7pm news.) The weather and english style countryside suits the brits. You should check it out.

Or maybe they want to get away from this?. torontosun.com/news/local-news/warmington-downtown-addicts-homeless-being-overlooked-during-pandemic Oh wait that is happening in yankistan too, in the democratic areas, and you have the gall to call poland third rate! what does that make the usa?
