We have just obtained proof that for the last 10 months all Poles have overpaid fuel prices due to the monstrous margins of the monopoly on the fuel processing market, the PKN Orlen concern. Since the New Year, the VAT rate on fuels has returned to 23%. Despite this, according to the announcements of the President of PKN Orlen, Daniel Obajtek, prices at petrol stations have practically not changed. This is proof that Poles were robbed of at least PLN 1.5 per liter of fuel. Where did that money go?

The matter is serious, because fuel prices are a significant inflation factor. Therefore, since a liter of fuel was more expensive by as much as PLN 2 than it should have been, the government deliberately spurred inflation in this way, calling the reduced VAT rates on fuels an "inflationary shield". In other words, they were generating the problem they were supposedly fighting.

Therefore, it was admitted that there was no shield, and simply Orlen plundered the Poles for billions. Some estimate that even 10 billion zlotys were stolen from Poles. This is the whole secret of Orlen's record profits. PIS robbed people and deliberately increased inflation, destroying the savings of Poles.
