History / Kashubians are nation in Poland? [124]
Kashubian sounds so strange I wouldn't call it a dialect of Polish - as for Silesian, I'm probably just more familiar with it and understand quite a lot, so I personally would call it a dialect of Polish (Germans called Silesian Wasserpolnisch before 18th century)- I'm not sure if there are definite rules in linguistics as to what should be called a dialect and what a language (facebook considers Silesian a language) - Górale speech is similarly distinct from Polish in the degree and it is considered a dialect

from what I can gather in liceum (or technikum) or whatever the curriculum started anew back from antiquity - it was the same as when I studied in liceum with the difference of having one year less for the cirriculum - history lessons where recent history was taught happened in the time were students were busy preparing for matura

I just read about some of the conditions PSL gave for supporting the KPO on 21 April - one of them was 'kwota wolna od podatku' (tax free allowance) at 30 000 pln - if this is not an outlandish condition I don't know what is (they also demanded 10 per cent of the KPO for agriculture - whatever that means)

ok, i have to admit to being wrong - I might have misunderstood something from what I heard on TV - it's true that in the middle of March PO gave 5 conditions on which it would support the KPO - and one of them was 40 per cent of the funds for the municipal authorities - I don't know other conditions but minister Buda of PiS said some of them were too much

Zgłobice 210 is the reall address - there is no street because the said Zgłobice in most propably one street village (though quite long judging from the 210 house number)
p-ta Zbylitowska Góra is the direction to post office (Zgłobice didn't have one)
powiat (county) Tarnów, voievodship Kraków
the address lacks a postal code - I'm not sure but probably back in the early 50's we didn't have any - nowadays you don't have to add county and voievodship just a postal code will do
