Let's not forget that tolerance is the last virtue of a dying society.


Those "attractive countries" are now getting much less attractive because false sense of tolerance has brought a misery to those regions.

Let's not forget terrorist attacks (one has happened on a London bridge not far from my office 18 months ago), "refugee" camps in the centre of Paris, rapes and groping on NYE in Cologne and so on.

I've also been to Athens which, apart of the strict centre, looks a like a city in a 3rd world country, full of Somalians selling smuggled cigarettes on the streets.

That's not the first nor the last time in a history of humankind when short-term interests of a particular groups of people are in direct conflict with an interest and the future of the society as a whole.

But rest assure that capitalism will find the way. Those employers who are in need for unskilled labour will have to invest in automation instead of mass immigration.

And in a meantime it can be done by Ukrainians on a temporary work visas like it is being done right now.

Let's define the "need":

Need: noun circumstances in which something is necessary; necessity.

Is "racial diversity" necessary to functioning of Poland? No, it isn't. So clearly Poland doesn't need racial diversity.

It's worth to mention that German communists could block Hitler and NSDAP if they formed coalition with socialists earlier on. The reason why they didn't was that they did get orders from "The Central" (from the USSR) to not do so. For devoted communists the USSR (Comintern) was always the only real "fatherland".

For Stalin, Hitler was a very useful tool at that time. He has chocked on that tool later on but that's a different story...

Good luck. Polish job market is now thirsty for new employees, especially specialists. If you possess skills which are needed on the market the whole process may be smoother than you expect. Employers, especially big companies and employment agencies, will often do all the legal procedures for you just to get you on board.

It is virtually impossible to apply for Polish citizenship from outside of Poland unless you are a member of Polonia and/or qualify for Karta Polaka. That is if you have Polish roots (right of blood).

So in order to do so you have to live and work legally in Poland.

In your case you would have to move to Poland first to live here and to learn the language which is needed for passing citizenship test and voila!

No, I haven't but I read the news and I also have a few Irish friends. We do get along very well, there's a cultural connection between us. Much more direct connection than with Brits.

That depends. Big cities, such as Warsaw have a small minority of non-European foreigners (in Warsaw it's mostly Vietnamese). Those cities also attract tourists from around the world so they may be confused with the actual citizens. Same goes with students from India and African countries.

That said, the most common types of foreigner in Poland are Ukrainians of which there is over a million of them.

It's NATO, not the EU which keeps peace in Europe. And Poland has no plans leaving NATO. And to be honest, Poland is one of a very few advocates of the US presence in Europe. And Germany became one of the opponents of the US presence.

I believe that the strength is the best guarantee of peace. Upgrading Polish army to the point of a possible mutual destruction is the key step on this path. That is exactly why cold war was, cold, and not a regular war between US and USRR. Both parties had a mutual destruction capability.

Well, I least that. We'll see if that statement holds true when it comes to AfD. So far no political establishment in Germany was free from socialism - since Bismarck who invented state socialism - so I'm very sceptical.

Obviously, Polish and German nationalism are very different and both countries have different geopolitical aims and goals so we could never be friends or close political allies but I can't see why not trade partners. Especially since one of AfD goals is Gerexit which practically means the destruction of the EU which will lead to new economic model of Europe.
