News / What should Poland do with the problem of Belarus? [1800]

They are illegal trespassers looking for a bigger welfare check.

Absolutely. And they will never be productive members of society either. There is intergenerational welfare dependency with large immigrant groups in woke countries like France, Germany, the UK and Sweden. Granted these same countries have below-replacement birth rates with their native stock due to feminism. Their leftist governments (yes, even the ones which claim to be conservative are now only that in name only) are debt spending on these imported deadbeats to keep the gears turning for local consumption. But eventually that Ponzi scheme will end in failure. The wokerati playing this game are just hoping they will either be dead themselves or be able to retire to another continent before they have to face the consequences of their destructive policies.

the refugee camp

The EU and Poland regard them as migrants.

Why are you deliberately and misleadingly calling them "refugees"?

Which were the first neighboring countries of asylum for these so-called "refugees"?

Remember, Poland doesn't border Asia, Africa or the Middle East.

No.

Yes it is.

And as usual you demonstrate being the typical wokester who winces when confronted with reality. You are unable to survive your own purity spiral and you know it. Hence your off-topic diversions instead.

Nevertheless, this is a golden opportunity for you to set an example and apologize publicly for your own collective responsibility in the misery and subjugation of other minority groups. Not only for you being an out and proud homosexual agitator but also as an Arab-speaker as well and that community's long, sordid and shameful history in the slave trade which continues to this very day.

Your reluctance to apologize will be fully expected but I still hope you can find the courage to do so.

It sounds odd.

Only for someone still hobbled by an ESL handicap and who also doesn't want to face inconvenient truths.

Is it correct English???

Yes.

Their means whose (sic) exactly??

I refer you to the first image.

So, what have you done to educate such students about their collective responsibility? If you haven't then why is that the case?

I proudly admitted I am tolerant towards students affiliated with LGBT.

What have you done to educate such students about their collective responsibility in their own intolerance, abuse and oppression of other minority groups throughout history?

It gives a whole new perspective to Kosciuszko's desire for their emancipation, doesn't it?

Why would you work when you get...to use other peoples hard earned money.

Good point. I heard about a funny exchanges which regularly occur in Germany.

- African Migrant: "Hello my neighbor! I traveled thousands of kilometers to be here in Germany! Thank you for having me in your country! German people are wonderful!"

- Arab Man: "I'm not German, I'm Arab."

- African Migrant: "So where are the Germans at?"

- Arab Man (looking at his watch): "Probably working."

News / Famous Polish writer prosecuted for free speech [71]

Your "famous" Polish writer as the defendant is the one who has to make his case for breaking the law.

And Poland's getting pretty bad press today too...

Well, then it's a good enough reason for you to start packing and leave. And don't worry, no one will notice you are gone.

he's that famous I never heard about him

He is only famous in the mind of the OP. The same OP who is British and gets excited about hashtags trending on Twitter. A platform used mostly by middle aged white women in America who vote Democrat.

guaranteed fee speech

You could never command speaking fees.

Anyway, Article 54 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland already guarantees freedom of expression.

And in 2021 it has been PiS which has been championing free speech by working on legislation to ensure that social media companies don't delete content or ban users who are not breaking Polish laws.

So what's the point of this latest PiS bashing thread of yours anyway?

We Poles may disagree with each other but there is still an expectation of decorum for the benefit of social cohesion.

Again, this is alien to you because you are British and come from a low trust society due to the corrosive anti-social behavior which is so commonplace in your British homeland.

Commenting on politicians is "anti-social behaviour" to you?

This so-called "famous" Polish writer wasn't critiquing policy.

He made a defamatory personal attack.

You really don't know anything about Ireland, do you?

I know everything that needs to be known about Ireland.

an ancient tradition

So why didn't you stay and preserve one yourself?

Oh, that's right, you have other personal priorities while still expecting Ireland to remain a Skansen in order to keep your fond memories alive.

None of them are going to place a lit candle in a window hoping you return someday for a brief visit.

You moved on and so has all of Ireland. Deal with it.

They don't drink. How sad for the pub owners!

Exactly. It would have happened even without a pandemic.

So the buildings can be converted. It's already been happening and making Ireland a top destination for sophisticated cosmopolitan palates.

our ability to Gaelicize people

Correction, you mean your ability to Anglicize people.

It's a serious problem for many.

LOL!

The problem in Ireland was solved a long time ago: Brits out! Migrants in!

we will water down the GAA, making it into something that caters for everything and stands for nothing.

Or in other words:

our ability to Gaelicize people

Pubs that have been in the same family for generations will be gone - very sad.

Not at all. They are just buildings that will be repurposed to reflect and serve the needs of modern, diverse, and progressive Ireland.

Life / I saw Polish nationalism today [263]

You have no idea how twitter works.

You don't need a phone number to set up a twitter account. You can set one up with an email address.

Everyone knows that twitter is a platform to give a voice to far-left extremists and not those with a center or right of center point of view.

So why are you on twitter anyway?

It's mainly used by white American women in their 40s with mostly a high school education who vote Democrat.

U.S. adult Twitter users are younger and more likely to be Democrats than the general public. Most users rarely tweet, but the most prolific 10% create 80% of tweets from adult U.S. users

Nah. Twitter doesn't ban people for being anti-nationalist like you are pretending to be. It's the complete opposite.

who the hell would want to even sleep with or mate with a Polish freaking supremacist? besides some skinhead or ex con

You tell us.

Many times you admitted you invoked the name Ultras while in a California prison 6,000 miles away from Poland and among inmates and prison guards who had no idea who you were referring to.

You also said that once deported to Poland you frequented locations where they are known to live and socialize in an attempt to join them. But that didn't work out.

So now you are critic of them because they didn't want to associate with you just like you are a critic of Poland because you can't find a job (although in the latter case you aren't even looking).

what is her goal tho what does she want to accomplish

To keep you from finding a job by distracting you with her nonsense tweets.

why the fuk am i supposed to csre about her or her stupid dog

She is trying to tap into evolutionary male instinct to exert time and resources in order to provide protection and provisions to females.

And she is succeeding by keeping you distracted from finding a job by keeping your focus on her and her stupid dog.

guys help me out here.

Many of us have tried. It's clear though that at the end of the day it requires you to help yourself.

USA, Canada / Just got out of jail in California and met a young man of Polish ancestry whilst in prison [27]

American prison system.

The title of this thread is about a Pole's own experience in the Democratic Party controlled progressive state of California and its priority given to its own prison-industrial complex.

Career Democratic Party operatives like Kamala Harris always ensure that the school-to-prison pipeline is in constant flow.

Well, women do indeed get bothered by a lot of different things but they are just much more passive-aggressive in how they try to deal with it.

being caught in a system. Nothing else.

A progressive system which values incarceration over education.

Elected prosecutors pandering to the most fearful normies.

You mean elected Democratic Party prosecutors like Kamala Harris pandering to the most fearful libtards.

I suppose you can call it bigotry with a conscience.

History / History of Polish-Russian relations [186]

can you state your point clearly, in one paragraph, without swearing, and in decent English?

He did a few posts earlier and in one passable sentence:

let poland become a failed state i say

This is his admission that because he knows that he trashed his own life he now wants all of Poland to be torn down to his level.

This way he doesn't have to feel so bad about himself.

Misery loves company.

Off-Topic / Anyone into soviet synth wave music here? [21]

God wins again

That version of Agnus Dei is a very good traditional work. Especially since from what I read about it the Latin words were added in the late swinging 1960s and by an American composer named Samuel Barber. According to his biography he was in a homosexual relationship which lasted 40 years.

I like this one better:

History / History of Polish-Russian relations [186]

and you proved my point and ifnyounwere smart youd know this.

Communism is to blame.

Despite being held back, Poland and the Czech Republic actually recovered a lot faster than their neighboring countries because they underwent "shock therapy" to quickly restructure their economies away from communism and towards capitalism.

This meant privatization (and often job loses in the interim) and removal of many social safety nets.

Neighboring countries like Bulgaria and Ukraine took the slow, less painful route and didn't privatize as much or as fast and held on to many state funded benefit programs. Their economies haven't advanced much since because of it.

As far as Portugal goes sure it didn't go through communism like Poland did.

So compare Portugal to other EU countries like Germany or even smaller economies like the Netherlands, Belgium, and Finland.

They were never under communism but managed to keep their economies sound and their standards of living high.

Why is Portugal along with Ireland, Italy, Greece, and Spain different than the other countries in the EU?

Because they didn't believe in fiscal discipline. They over-borrowed and they were weak on collecting taxes. They blew it.

It can take longer to rebuild an economy than it does to crash it. Decades longer. Even a generation.

This is why Poland is still a net beneficiary of EU funds rather than a net contributor to it.

Even as a beneficiary Poland has been very responsible in managing its finances. There is no evidence that Poland would have been an irresponsible spendthrift country if it never had communism imposed on it.
