No i wyszła Szydło z worka - jest więcej inteligentnych przyzwoitych ludzi w Polsce niż kaczorkowych sovieticusów.

Nope, I am too busy in the summer to play with breadcrumb coating on mushrooms. Just flour - crispy enough for me.

I can't believe you're eating them with broad beans though..

Yes, coz that is my fave combination to keep balance in nature - sth crisp fried combined with sth soft boiled but still al dente coz I hate soggy stuff. See the picture below. Fried pork chop with chick peas and green beans.

I eat a lot of meat daily. I do realise I have to supplement it with veg and fruit to achieve our fave balance in nature.

Here is my daily summer portion of veg which I eat raw coz they are the best in such form.

Winds can be strong in our area. After the first impact I strived to straighten those corn stems. After the next gales I gave up. But they kept growing and gave abundant crop.

I was wondering how to name this thread, especially the gov in it.
Opposition gov?? No, after a few weeks they won`t be the opposition anymore, but rulers.

Tusk gov??? Who can ensure Honourable Saviour Donald Tusk will remain the PM till the next elections???

I chose democratic to show the difference from the previous rightist PIS gov with autocratic leaning.

After the victorious elections, the 4 opposition leaders declared they want to form the gov with Mr Honourable Donald Tusk as the Prime Minister.
They will have to cohabitate with President Duda who, despite his false claims of neutrality, still hugely supports his mother party, PiS.

Right now it is up to Duda to appoint the Prime Minister. Previously, presidents chose the leaders of the party which had won the elections. Now it is PiS who got more votes than others, but it is the opposition who have the majority of seats. Duda is delaying the formation of the new pro democratic gov for various reasons - PIS are playing on provoking discord in the opposition coalition.

In the spring, politicians of the United Right warned that the European Union "will order Poles to eat worms." For several weeks, they raised alarms, among others: large illustrations or videos of insects that they posted on social media. They suggested that they were the only ones defending the independence of the Polish plate. The goal was simple: to create a message that the European Union is losing itself in an irrational reality, and United Right politicians are the conservative anchor of Europe.advertisement

The problem is that the words from a few months ago were not followed by actions. Last week, the European Parliament adopted a resolution on the European Protein Strategy . 307 parliamentarians were in favor of it, including the vast majority of PiS MEPs .

The document, which mostly refers to the use of protein from insects in the agricultural sector, reads, among others:"the processing of protein crops and grasslands generates by-products that can be used in ways that support the development of a circular economy, for example by using them for human consumption , renewable energy, fertilizers, animal feed or green chemicals","animal breeding can contribute to the production of protein in a highly digestible form for human nutrition","the growing potential of insect protein for human consumption , and especially for animal feed."There are more references in the resolution directly pointing to people eating "protein from insects".

Sorry, you are wrong, of course. Sweet stuff increases your levels of happinnes hormones like dopamine,serotonine etc. They make you happy, not asleep. We certainly need it in the the sad country ruled by PiS gangsters.

Teaching in Poland ruled by crazy rightists like PiS is a hard job. You need to be tough. Some people resort to mental supplements.
In my school it is food. I don`t mean only stuff for sweet tooth although it is the most popular.

That is why I still stick to my school and don`t plan to change it.

I am going to post some photos but try not to ask me for occassions coz I forgot half of them. Mostly there are no special occassions. A teacher just brings sth and puts on the tables in the staff room

Zucchini or patison squash blossoms are delicious.

I prepared them crisp fried, after simple coating in flour. Served with scrambled eggs and chive. Yummy!
PS. Be careful and check the insides of blossoms for bugs if you care for animals. I do so I did. :):):)

Yes, that`s what I meant. But you said chestnut which is an inedible species growing in the park. :):):)

Why was I so surprised seeing the fruit? I had always believed the tree had to be very big to give fruit. While ours is only 8 years old.

However, the chestnuts were empty. It always happens when you grow only one tree. That is why we have two for cross pollination but the other one is still small - it nearly died in wintertime 3 years ago and has been still recuperating.

BTW, those shells are really spiky - you need to handle them with care. Take it into consideration if you plan to plant this tree next to your house.

Jagodno, a housing estate in the city of Wrocław, became famous both for its voters and a pizza restaurant located there. Amasing story.

This pizzeria in Wrocław became famous on election Sunday (October 15 this year). Although the polling stations were supposed to be open until 21, in some cities voting lasted until 3 a.m. And so it was, among others, in Wrocław, in the Jagodno housing estate. Several hundred people were stuck in line for hours. The Wrocław pizzeria Mania Smaku decided to make their waiting time more pleasant by providing 300 free pizzas.

- pizzeria employees who prepared additional pizzas outside their working hours explained on Facebook.

But believe us, we didn't do it to seek applause, but out of good heart and care for these wonderful people who decided to fulfill their civic duty above all else.

After the elections, the owner and employees of the Mania Smaku pizzeria received many signs of support.

Apart from the pizza outlet, the whole of Poland heard about the voters from Jagodno in Wrocław. But not only because they stood in line to the ballot box for hours, and the voting itself ended at 3 a.m. Also because this is where PiS suffered a spectacular defeat . In the Jagodno commission, 2,724 valid votes were cast, of which 1,186 were for KO and 162 for Jarosław Kaczyński's party .

Excellent! Those people, both pizza outlet employees and voters, are the salt of the Polish earth right now. Respect and hats off to you.

If you ever visit Wrocław, drop by Jagodno estate to eat the election pizza. The eatery is called Mania Smaku (Manic Taste) and is located at 15 ulica Racławicka (Racławicka Street).

I suggested PIS blackmailing opposition members two days ago. Today the rumour is growing that PIS services in fact spied on their opponents before the elections.

The rumour is slowly evolving into certainty. One of the opposition politicians shared a text he had received from a befriended member of PiS secret services:

"Gazeta Wyborcza" obtained a copy of an SMS message with a warning that one of the officers sent to opposition politicians.

It reads: "Require that meetings that are important to you take place without telephones. They were given an order to knock out as many people as possible. This includes the fact that they will make the conversations available to the media. They were given impunity clauses. Some of the boys go to L4 ".

The news shows that the officer warns against taking phones to meetings important for the opposition. In turn, "the order to knock out as many people as possible" means - as the author of the material explains - that his superiors wanted to record as many politicians as possible.

The text message stated that the officers were also to make no secret of the fact that if something compromising was recorded, it would be released to the media.

The part about L4's dismissal refers to the fact that when PiS lost the elections, the officers involved went on sick leave. According to information from "Gazeta Wyborcza", those who did not want to follow orders but were afraid to refuse outright also took advantage of the exemptions.
