I hate that supermarket man,its so unorganized,they dont even stock it properly and there products are inferior thus cheap so people go there.I only have Carrfour by me and I shop there.I use to like there 10 Pln red wine from Portugal.Yes Auchan is pretty good,but still they also dont have all brands and sizes.1.75 litre is non existent there.I only can buy Finlandia in that size.Also to sell chilled wine or Champagne is not common,sometimes even in some restaurants.The private wine stores in malls are a rip off and I suspect they sell fake stuff too.Years back when I was in that business I would always buy Cristal champagne duty free to sell and a store in Galleria Mokotov tried to sell me a fake one with chincy packaging.

Plus pension & 401,Most retired teachers I know live a very comfortable life and have houses/condos in Florida and drive good cars.
Yes thats what some of my relatives did they have a collective income of around 3/4k USD,paid off house and cars in Poland,lol and now they were saying cuz of gas problems in Poland they will come to there kids and grandkids for winter in States.
In US still a mil or 2 will not make 3k a month with deposits at least and dont forget the inflation the principal is shrinking sin the bank fast.
A teacher after 30 years will receive about $4000 a month retirement in the US
Plus pension & 401,Most retired teachers I know live a very comfortable life and have houses/condos in Florida and drive good cars.
Earning in USD or Euro for a career makes retirement easy in Poland.

Even in Warsaw there are now plenty of steak places,where good steaks start from 80pln esp the one on Nowegrodska by running sushi restaurant has steaks starting from 80 pln to cpl hundred zlots,plus wine/drink etc will get you there.Same in US is in $ and in Poland is in zlots.
lol difference is that some cheapos dont tip in Poland.I was tipping till 15% but now my son told me that now people tip 20 to 25% depending on the service.

Yes if the price is right,on Warsaw Minsk highway zoned commercial with 21 meters wide separate entrance from the highway and next to a cold storage that I rent to Jerónimo Martins for the last 11 years with new 15 yr contract.

I remember in 80s,I once sent maybe 20 sponsorships to my wifes village and most people got Visas,some are citizens now,some got deported,and some left for Poland voluntarily.But the village now has beautiful houses.Those days as I remember Poles who left there family back usually wanted to make 10k to 15k USD and go back home.Two sisters of my wife also went back to retire comfortably with there husbands.They took there cars and household stuff from here in containers and when here.they were building beautiful houses there.Now they are living a very comfortable life with there savings and almost 2kUsd each a month pension.They could never live like that in US.Now there kids who are born in the US are here and most plan to do the same when they retire.

At one time we were thinking to move there,but we changed as kids dont want to come there and I dont speak Polish.We would totally get out of Poland but the $ is so strong.At one point we were thinking of buying a small 10/15 people senior residence(Dom Seniora,I think in Polish) for ourselves in west of Poland,where the Germans would be our clients.

Not land,until he has been a resident of Poland for2 or 3 years(I forgot) or he has to take permission to buy land.I dont know the name of the office,but know where it is in Warsaw in Mokotov.All aplications from whole Poland are submitted there and can take up to 3 months(If you dont know anyone or pay:))).Best part is they didnt have any legal form to fill out as application.Has to be typed or handwritten.Permission fee was almost 1500pln.
I would stay away from rolna land,a mess with regulations.

Yes,even if you are not a citizen or resident,you will need permission to buy land that takes up to 3 months,after that is easy if you know what you are buying with power of attorney.Also depends onhow are you buying on individual or company name.There are cpl of documents you will need from the seller,which he can get it in a week or so rest is a phone call away.

Yes,and also during those times people in fact made more money if you take the'honestly' part out.
Nope,working hard dont make money,you can slog for slave labor doing 2 jobs and make what 7/8k zlots,one needs brains with hard work to make good money.Until like some brit sh.it English teachers who come to Poland and live a cheap high life claiming to make money lol.
People who will disagree are dumb fu.cks brainless workers.I always said that Poland has more opportunities as in the west there are people from all over the world trying to compete,one has to be real smart to make something there.In Poland all you have to do is compete with Poles who still are learning how to do business esp if you can speak the language.I personally know Poles,Dutch,Russian and Armenian people who make over 2/3 mil USD a year in Poland doing legit business who are in there 30s/40s and 60s.

It depends where in Poland and how big the family is or plan to have a Family,pets etc.I can never see bringing up kids in a flat or having pets in a flat,no matter how big the flat is.Schools,hospital,shopping etc all to be considered and of course the financial part.We chose our house for that and the beach which my family loves near by in 10 mins.
