Genealogy / What are common Polish character traits? [417]

Nobody is xenophobic and homophobic. We love all foreigners when they tend to their families at home.
And we are not afraid of gays. We just find them biologically useless and what they do revolting.

Polish character trait that is beyond insanity: they don't trust anything, even where trust is not relevant or applicable. Like here.

They just can't switch that trait off, like a puppy that got kicked one time too many.

News / Years of Poland in the EU - assessment of pros and cons [1158]

Yes. And no they are hurting children through spreading pro LGBT propoganda.

This and the rest - spot on.

get depressed and many commit suicide.

They are so f***ed up in their heads that their - LGBT's - suicide rates are off the chart. I don't remember the exact number at this moment, but they are not even close to the hetero's. And it's not because we are mean to them. It's inside their heads.

Life / Child abuse in Poland [64]

My brilliant plan is to make the kids part of the law enforcement and, thus, untouchable. Would any pervert go after the kid who is known to be wired with the audio streaming live to a parent who is right outside?

Another question: how do pedophiles get access to the kids?

When I am with any of my granddaughters, I am never further than 10 feet away and they are NEVER out of my sight. Under what conditions could any perv, priests included, even shake hands with them without my approval? I really don't get it.

Discussion must be about Poland, not other countries.

Simple. Every kid should be wired for audio - a device so small that it can be hidden very easily. Then you tell the priests that they all have them and are monitored and recorded live. End of molesting.

News / Abortion still under control in Poland [2986]

I learned it from the masters of bs talk, the abortion freaks. To them, sticking a sharp object into a 28-week unborn baby is "reproductive rights".

Poland has one of the strictest abortion rules. The US - the most relaxed. Show me one statistical difference - skip the sob stories - where Poland is worse off for it

News / There is no Poland without the Church! [178]

Any document alleging serious crimes against children is evidence.

I am glad you are there, not here. The screaming me-too women would love you, though. Yeah, allegation is now evidence. What law school did you graduate from?

clergy have been used to feeling as if they're above the law.

They don't feel they are above the law. They know that what they have done is a felony and that's why they hide it. If they felt they are above the law, they would to do openly.

Like Hillary.

Rapes aside, do you think that the Catholic Church should be welcoming Planned Parenthood baby killers and their pro-abortion political protectors?

Po polsku / Katowice-gdzie mogę spotkać ludzie? [58]

One of the reasons is that you 'forgot' Polish.

For the last time: I did not forget Polish. I stumble reading it and saying it. Since my arrival here, I got me a better tool to express my brilliance.

Did you skate when you were a kid? If so, put those skates on today and tell me you many times you were on your butt.

Wiesz doskonale, że nie wierzę w 'Ryszarda Mazura'.

Now that we know what "w" or "in" means, what is the meaning of the quoted sentence? That I don't exist? If so, who is now conversing with you? R2D2?

I have to much respect for you to accept that you don't know the difference. No, I am not trying to be patronizing. I really mean it.

I just got a headache from reading this threat, so I am going to bail out.
Just one piece of advice: it you want to get rid of me, switch this forum to Polish only.

Czy znacie "Polski straszny jezyk" od Jana Miotka?

An example of how f***up Polish is. From a sentence like this in English, I would know his last name. From the Polish version, I don't. Same with this one:

nie wierzę w 'Ryszarda Mazura'.

My name is Mazur, nie Mazura.
Also, is "w" intentional or an error? It changes the meaning dramatically. With "w", I am like Jesus. Without, I am a liar. Of the two, the intent is clearly the latter. So why "w"?

Wiesz, na lekcjach gramatyki języka polskiego uczymy się o zdaniach bez orzeczenia.

...a feature that comes form being lazy or scared. I remember all those cryptic poems (44) and the hushed voices we used to stay safe under communism and probably before. Plausible deniability at work.

Ale pewności siebie tylko mu pozazdrościć.

The same in English: We can only envy him his self-confidence.

Now, tell me which version is like flossing teeth with barbed wire.

BTW, that Polish sentence has no verb - mozemy.

Language / Extremely Hard - Polish the hardest language to learn [226]

I was brought up there, hated "the rules" and the rulers, and didn't want to "try harder". So I left. Polish language rules suck.

There are about 20 synonyms of obstreperous which are simpler and you had to throw this linguistic tumor in? Why?

Which is nothing but a major pita and a dilemma: do I know this guy well enough already to drop that "pan"? Should I ask and be refused?

To keep things simple, I go to Level 2 with "ty" from the start. Don't like it? Bye or English with yous. Your choice. One thing for sure: nobody will control my list of approved words. Especially, in "America".

I remember this painful process very well. On my first job in Poland, it was mandatory to start with "Panie Magistrze". Later, it would be "Panie Zdzislawie". Next, "Zdzislaw". After that: "Zdzisiek" I lasted only till "Panie Zdzislawie". Please, ignore my spelling if incorrect.

On the first day of my first job here, everybody was on the first name basis. From the CEO down to the janitor. And, guess what - nobody died. Not even a heart attack!

Just because you can't speak the language doesn't mean that others can't.

Poles can't speak Polish. Listening to them is painful. Even on the radio in Chicago, the "pros" speak without any accent but the flow is just not there. It's choppy, with hesitations as if to make it sound spontaneous and not pre-rehearsed. The best examples of this mental disorder can be seen watching the judges at the Polish singing competitions and their fake stumbling to express a simple point that a singer was excellent. None of this is done at American Got Talent. We construct sentences in milliseconds and say them almost as fluently as we read them - nouns, verbs, and the dressup words.

History / Polish attitudes towards ex-Soviet republics joining NATO [116]

You are joking...
So, 7 billion plus earth devouring creatures is not enough... Let's make some more. Is this you, Mr. Pope?
Can you envision the disaster that would befall the retirement plans if, one day, cancer was just poof gone.
Do you have any idea how much it costs to lift a 200-pound weight into space like Mars? How about spending a tiny fraction of it on free, on-demand abortions leftists love so much?

Kiszka = the fastest way to get indigestion. Goes well with Tums or pepto. Mixes well with vodka.

What's there not to love? He turned a weak and backward country into a superpower. You do remember who detonated the biggest, 100 megaton, nuclear bomb ever, who was first in space, and who makes the best assault rifle in the world? To us, Russians, those are the milestones our national pride is based on. Mig-25 and Mig-31 are the top three fastest fighter planes as of today - with the US F-15 in between. Without Stalin, none of this would be a reality.
