News / Polish Lithuanian Diplomatic War? At last. [533]

...pawian reads only the first sentence. Just so you know...

Yes, he has autistically berated me many times in the past to let me know that his attention span is limited to one line of text.

Par for the course when someone is educated by communist slogans.

It doesn't matter. Some people don't want to be confronted with the truth and complexities of life anyway so avoid having substantive discussions.

Do you suggest Poles and Polesses will bear a grudge for that Lithuanian discrimination on spelling and other things??

The matter was resolved back in 2022 (pre-Tusk).

Lithuanian justice minister changes to Polish spelling of name under new law - May 25, 2022

notesfrompoland.com/2022/05/25/lithuanian-justice-minister-changes-to-polish-spelling-of-name-under-new-law/

That is a pessimistic view.

It is a realistic view.

Like I explained already, EU's viceroy Tusk doesn't care about Poles and his priorities are globohomo.

"Tusk said Poland would be a loyal ally of the United States and a committed member of NATO, and signaled his determination to mend Warsaw's ties with Brussels after years of feuding over issues ranging from judicial independence to LGBT rights."

But isn`t it too late to have the relations improved before Russia attacks? There is very little time and Poles and Polesses might not make it ......

It will never happen.

Your personal lord and savior had all the time in the world during his decades-long career and in different influential political roles to do something but didn't.

Brussels' reinstalled viceroy in Poland doesn't even have a record of genuinely caring for Poles in Poland let alone anywhere else.

But don't take my word for it, take his!

"Mr. Tusk has sometimes alienated potential voters, particularly more traditional-minded ones in small rural towns and villages. Mr. Tusk offended millions of Poles in 2005 by dismissing conservatives as a "mohair coalition" - a reference to the berets many older women wear to church. Mr. Tusk apologized but struggled for years to shake off an image of haughty contempt."

nytimes.com/2023/12/12/world/europe/donald-tusk-poland-prime-minister.html

Not only that but he has publicly stated that he regards himself as a Kashubian minority member living in Poland rather than Polish.

So what makes you think he will care now about the fate of the Polish diaspora in Lithuania?

Answer: He won't.

Of course. the Eurocrat needs time to find the best Polish state assets to sell and then invest heavily in the companies most likely to buy them.

That's capitalism, commie-style! :)

I wonder when and how did you detect that you were shadow-banned.

Several months ago and during that time I would login but not be able to post. My profile showed nothing about being suspended and I never received any explanation.

He didn`t. He is bshyting you.

LOL. You say this out of one side of your mouth and then earlier out of the other side of your mouth you said:

you were blocked coz you were getting tiring.

Conclusion: never trust the words of a Tusk voter.

Tusk has been ruling for only 10 days or so.

And in just that short amount of time the world witnessed Tusk unleash police raids on the media and now we see you crying over inferior fruit.

Soon you will be paying more for less.

Quarter sizes will be priced at half sizes and half sizes will be priced at whole sizes. Whole sizes will be unavailable.

Tusk will not usher in an age of prosperity except for himself.

Poles will face a future of penury and malnourishment thanks to the fools that voted for the elitist millionaire Eurocrat Tusk.

Mark my words!

I can speak and a few other posters, too, coz we are Polish and reside in Poland.

You only speak for yourself and the only dunces who have ever sided with you on here have always been British.

We are living in a capitalist country where personal wealth is an asset.

Career politicians like the Eurocrat Tusk becoming multi-millionaires are not a result of capitalism but commie-style corruption where only a select few at the top benefit.

Tusk and Co are defending the freedom of speech

Sure, sure. Sure they are with totalitarian banana republic police raids rather than taking civilized approaches like instituting changes in policies, reassignment of personnel, or even privatizing of state assets.

Not only his but also saving his family

Exactly! For most Poles such a betrayal would be mark of family shame but not so for the Tusk's (or you)!

Indeed, today your own personal lord and savior Donald Tusk is not only a bigwig Eurocrat but he is a rich one too with a net worth estimated to be measured in millions of euros.

Like I said before, his grandfather's decision was a choice and you agreed that his choice benefited not only himself but his family and I would add it did so for generations afterwards.

That`s what his grandpa did.

Oh, so he voluntarily joined the Wehrmacht to save his own ass but then when he realized after several months that he was on the losing side he ran away and pretended that his actions were actually heroic.

Only you would believe this nonsense.

But then again, you do support Tusk blindly.

@Novichok

Yes, given that PolishForum was founded and based in the United States along with the knowledge of Poland's own long history of occupation and oppression one would have thought that freedom of expression would be a hallmark of PolishForums. Nope.

Why would they block you from posting?

No reason was ever given. But considering the timeframe it has to be nothing more than petty, woke, self-righteousness.

Poles know exactly what is good for them and you aren`t one.

Tusk has no honor and you still blindly support him with a schoolgirl's crush.

Tusk should have dropped out of the election over this scandal but didn't.

Oh, and don't forget about Tusk's own public displays of affection toward other Poland-hating despots.

Like Eurocrat Tusk, you too are merely a soviet-era passport Pole.

Two Polsko-Bolshevik relics with Molotov-Ribbentrop sentiments.

The EU has already granted Poland 5 billion euros from the suspended fund which Mr Saviour Donald Tusk unblocked.

In other words the EU deliberately withheld funds then used them to rewarded one of their own Eurocrats for seizing power in Poland.

That is what is called election interference and corruption and unsurprisingly you are rejoicing over it.

Certainly it won`t be as irrelevant as it was under PIS

Poland's relevance will be reduced to being a military outpost and social landfill.

Poland will become nothing more than an expendable military buffer zone to protect the rest of the EU as well as dumping ground for millions of migrants entering the EU.

Eurocrat Tusk will make sure of that!

Poland in the EU under Tusk will be as relevant as Guam is in the United States.

Yes he does - about his own personal career and insatiable lust for power.

Donald Tusk is the true Saviour coz when he came back from European salons 3 years ago, he gave new hope to decent Poles

Your personal lord and savior Donald Tusk is a Eurocrat.

His empty promises to decent Poles was a ruse to get elected under the pretense of democratic norms.

He doesn't care about Poles and Poland.

He only cares about his own power and the glory of the Eurocracy.

What is shadow banning?

It's a form of censorship. You can login and everything looks the same until you try to post. Then you are unable to or no one can see what you post or see that you even logged in.

There was a rumor you stopped posting for personal reasons.

Not at all. I was prevented from posting by someone who thought PolishForums should follow the leftist Twitter playbook.

Sure, such censorship activities would have looked great on a resume if they were looking for a job at Twitter before Tusk took over.

But now such cancel culture antics are seen as an embarrassment rather than righteous.

Hey, Poloniusz, good to see you back.

Hello Novichok!

Thank you and it is good to see you are still around. Yes, shadow banning prevented an earlier return. Perhaps Elon Musk should buy PolishForums as well!

I am really curious what you will say about Ukraine and Israel.

I will have more to say about these in other threads but basically they are both foreign countries with corrupt regimes using the global military industrial complex to grift for themselves and with a complete disregard to the destruction of the local environment and native populations. Western countries should be spending money at home rather than wasting it on these two basket-case countries.

Christmas was always celebrated in communist times...I am still haunted by those memories even though communism collapsed 34 years ago.

Well, that's because your heritage group was always a minority in Poland (as in Polska not Polin).

As you know, I have always been obsessed about fruit. Apples were available all year round but nobody cared about them.

Did you dip your apples in honey?

"Apples and honey: For many Jews, these words are an inseparable pairing. We dip a slice of apple in honey to express our hopes for a sweet and fruitful year."

Life / Has feminism and lesbianism progressed in Poland? [645]

you are truly a human scum.

Aww, insults in broken English. How cute!

Let's see if we can find any more bullying insults in this thread from your fellow feminists.

Here's one!

That lady who posts under Boozoniusz is excellent in her role...she isn`t ...Those views she presents....

Wait! What!?

Substituting female titles and pronouns in order to demean a man? Well, you just exposed your own interpersonal sexism and your unshakeable judgmental gender stereotypes! LOL!

Odd too that none of the female feminists called you out on this. Well, their silence betrays their own lifelong struggles with internalized sexism and feelings of profound shame for being women.

I do feel abused. And he clearly revels in his abuse. He enjoys it. This is sick.

Wait! What!?

Did you suddenly and conveniently forget your own abusive name calling on here just a few posts prior as pointed out above?

Did you not revel in the abusive image posted by the chimp troll in post #289 showing a woman violently stomping on a man's head?

Did you not revel in the abusive image posted by the chimp troll in post #393 showing a book title which glorifies women violently assaulting men?

Of course you did.

You never once said those images were wrong and unacceptable.

You loved it!

You need to face reality. You are not an abused victim. You are a revolting hypocrite.

So now every woman is his mother. Thoughts anyone??

LOL!

Thanks for sharing with everyone that you are an inept DIY shrink. Your laughable "diagnosis" is sheer quackery and really does speak volumes about your own personal dysfunctional family relationships. Trying to project it onto me only proves this.

You obviously are still searching for answers to help explain the demons inside your head. So here it is: screechy, preachy feminist Karens like yourself can never hold a candle to a real woman like my mother and her generation. You know this and are frustrated when real men like me come along - see you for the wanting, do-nothing-but- demand harridans that you are - and then refuse to put the likes of you high upon a pedestal simply due to your anatomy (and a very aged one at that!).

Do even a modicum of research and you will quickly learn that millions of young women of today want nothing to do feminism and are even embarrassed by it. All thanks to so-called "women" like you.

women-at-war-irelands-forgotten-heroines-of-the-era

How far away were they from the raging battle front?

To be sure it was miles and miles and miles away.

Proof? None of them are wearing any protective combat gear.

Heck, some of them aren't even wearing any hair or face coverings.

But that is to be expected.

Women are always more concerned about being the main, unobstructed subject of such photos.

Demonstrating even basic and proper hospital hygiene in order to ensure the health, safety and recovery of the male combat patient never even crossed their minds.

Conscription was never introduced in Ireland.

You are wrong as usual about your own history.

"A conscription law was passed but was never put in effect; no one in Ireland was drafted into the British Army. The proposal and backlash galvanised support for political parties which advocated Irish separatism and influenced events in the lead-up to the Irish War of Independence."

Source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conscription_Crisis_of_1918

And it never applied to women anyway.

And do bear in mind that WWI affected my own family directly.

Yes, I'm sure it did.

Conscription wasn't introduced in Britain until 1916.

And? It still didn't apply to women.

Speaking of 1916, what was your homeland's sentiment during this time period of the war?

Oh yeah, your lot literally started a second armed front against Britain:

"In 1916, Irish republicans took the opportunity of the ongoing war to proclaim an independent Irish Republic and launch an armed rebellion against British rule in Dublin, which Germany attempted to help."

Source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ireland_and_World_War_I

And this is how the poet and Irish nationalist Francis Ledwidge summed things up at the time:

"If someone were to tell me now that the Germans were coming in over our back wall, I wouldn't lift a finger to stop them. They could come!"

Source: irishcultureandcustoms.com/Poetry/FLedwidge.html

Anyway.

They volunteered - and there were already a few million women in the workforce before the war.

Lies.

"Though there was initial resistance to hiring women for what was seen as 'men's work', the introduction of conscription in 1916 made the need for women workers urgent. Around this time, the government began coordinating the employment of women through campaigns and recruitment drives."

Source: striking-women.org/module/women-and-work/world-war-i-1914-1918

In other words, women had to be coaxed into work. Employers never wanted women anyway because they knew (just like it is today) that women are less productive than men.

It was only due to government intervention and being the majority buyer of industrial output to meet the war effort that companies relented and hired women. Read the rest of the article where it accounts that women were more interested in striking over pay and in turn were quickly let go by companies as soon as the war was over. The companies rationally paid men more thus proving the age old adage that for an honest day's work they will give an honest day's pay.

to have the common decency to respect the memory of women who lost their husbands and sons.

LOL!

If only women had the common decency to respect the memory of the husbands and sons they lost!

Clearly, you never heard the story of Mabel Beadsworth who was one of the first women to receive a war widows' pension.

Mabel was married to British Army Private Alec Beadsworth and had two children with him before he was killed in action in May 1915.

Then in January 1916 Mabel gave birth to a third child.

But rumors began to swirl about the true faithfulness of Mabel.

The local Pensions Office and Army Council got a tip off from Mabel's mother-in-law and an investigation found that Mabel's third child did not belong to her dead husband Alec but rather some other guy named Norton.

So Mabel was rightfully stripped of her pension obtained only due to the ultimate sacrifice made by her fallen hero husband Alec.

You can read this floozie's sob story here: warwidowsstories.org.uk/history/working-class-women-war-widows-pension-in-the-first-world-war/

Never mind though that the article admits that Mabel went on to have SEVERAL more children (11 in total!) with a string of other men.

Mabel, of course, is still portrayed as the victim in all this and as woman who was subjected to "bureaucratic gaze and moral judgement."

Spoiler alert: Fifteen years after Mabel lost her pension she was still writing to the government trying to get it back!

You think Mabel infidelity is an exception? Nope.

Not back in her time and certainly not now.

In a woman's world it is never about having actual respect for the men in their lives let alone in the rest of society.

Rather, for women, it's always about the money!

Women already became considerable workforce during WW1 when millions of white males happily went to war started by their white male governments.

You don't know what you are talking about!

Your erroneous statements show you are ignorant of major processes in history! Or you are ready to falsify history to suit your sick agenda?

Millions of white males did not happily go to war. They were drafted (aka conscripted) by their governments to do so. They had no choice. If they didn't comply they faced consequences like imprisonment, fines and even public taunting by hypocritical women who were exempted and never once protested this gender inequality!

Ever hear about the shameful history of white feather girls in Britain?

It happened.

And women, as natural Marxist-Leninist-Socialist-Communists, fully supported the action of their governments!

Fact: Women only became considerable in the workforce, not only because men were forced to leave and fight, but because many of the industries were either already nationalized or manufacturing products for their number one customer - the government!

Fact: Women financially benefited by the men killed in war as they were granted the first State-funded, non-contributory pension.

And here is their outrageously solipsistic, zero skin in the game, sick and twisted logic used to cash in:

"Many of the women whose husbands, fiancés or boyfriends were killed in the First World War felt that they too had served their country by sacrificing their men to war, and that their loss deserved recognition."

Source: mylearning.org/stories/how-the-first-world-war-affected-families/797

You constantly mention American women in Polish threads and matters. Quit this silly obsession. This is Poland, not America.

And yet you cited WW1 and "white male governments" when Poland didn't even exist!

Nevertheless you need to show gratitude and thank Polonia and in particular one famous man - Ignacy Jan Paderewski - for Poland's restoration.

"Paderewski drafted the 13th of Wilson's 14 Points, calling for a free and independent Poland."

Source: wilsoncenter.org/event/ignacy-paderewski-and-woodrow-wilson-legacy-freedom-and-democracy

What do you think about this one? Now I demand.
