Life / 60th birthday in Poland [38]

party for our 30th wedding

Yes, it was also our last big party. Since then, we celebrate everything more "intimately" according to this motto: less is more and better.

I was just thinking about ice wine but Gerda and Kai fit even better.
Okay, let's go further, what is the best wine to take to a concert of a Polish pianist?

Both wines go very well, although I wanted to put Chateau Talbot in the garage.
But let's get back to the books. What wine will we take to Andersen's fairy tale The Snow Queen?

New wine

Not bad, not bad, but I was thinking about Illuminati wein. Specifically about the wine from the Dino Illuminati Winery.
Well, that's the next puzzle. Which wine fits best in the garage.

And now the riddle. Which wine fits the Holy Bible best? And this is not about altar wine. 😇

Love / Some questions about a Polish guy and what Polish guys are like [6]

Polish men are not that different to any other men.

But they are, it's a matter of upbringing. At least that's how it was when I was young and still living in Poland. The boy always opened the door and let the girl in first. After the cinema, you always walked the girl home. The bill was always paid in full and not splitted. Those were obvious things. Only the kissing on the hand was gone.

Ps. Not to mention giving up a seat to old grandma on bus.

60 per se is not stressful, but throwing big parties is stressful. I'm slowly starting to understand people getting married without a wedding or even better living without a wedding. Although the latter solution is unfavorable due to children and inheritance matters.👠🎩🔇🔕

Life / 60th birthday in Poland [38]

Unlike all other birthdays, I decided to go around 60 without any stress. Although it has already passed, today our son arrived and we opened a bottle of Bollinger Rose. Wanted to try James Bond champagne.

We have as many as 3 sockets in the bathroom in our 20-year-old house in Germany. Also in Poland, in our house from the 1960s, there were sockets in the hanging mirror cabinet in the bathroom . It was completely normal. But when I was still going to England, I was told that not only the electrics in Victorian houses are strange, but also a few other things.

History / Are Poles happy with the current Polish borders? [134]

does that not make Poland "EasternGermany" in their line of thinking

I don't think so because it's actually a common term that everyone uses. But you can ask BB and T what they think about it.

History / Are Poles happy with the current Polish borders? [134]

So a nutcase.

Although after reading the message I have to say that this lady did not say anything wrong. She only said that the AfD has a lot of support in "Mitteldeutschland". Only that "Mitteldeutschland" or Central Germany is a common term for this geographical region that has nothing to do with any territorial claims.

It's a worthy bottle.

Certainly, but I see you also have interesting books for this wine. If I got it right, that thing about the Vatican and Edith Stein?
