News / Poland in the European Union. Polexit? [559]

It's this type of arrogance at the top that turns people against the EU

Arrogance is the right word.

Do you now feel shame for ever argued in favor of EU? You feel, don`t you?

I never argued in favour of The EU and so feel no shame.

if only to attempt to tame and control our most human instinct, notably to take unfair advantage of a given situation or rest somebody else's sweat and toil to exact personal profit....

That is exactly what The EU is about.
Well said Lyzko!

News / Poland in the European Union. Polexit? [559]

the EU is some sort of conspiratorial "dictatorship", hell bent on destroying European freedoms?

Because it is!
I can't see why an educated man like you doesn't see it!
No directly elected leaders, all on massive salaries and we can't unelect them.....that is a dictatorship in my book.

News / Poland in the European Union. Polexit? [559]

Disassembling the EU from within and building a simple free trade zone on its corpse would be the best option

Absolutely correct![

quote=Dirk diggler]Yup. I predict that once Poland has to pay money into the EU the support will fall.[/quote]
I posted this the other day and got mocked.

The vast majority of Poles feel otherwise

Only as long as it favours Poland........

News / Poland in the European Union. Polexit? [559]

Bad news..... The hell-born Franco-German alliance has brought back article 13

Yet another sign of how this EU wants to control everything......it is anti freedom.

the foundations of the EU are neo-marxist

Exactly,and this is the problem.

History / Why are Poles/Poland disliked by Germans? [140]

That's because they have had to work harder for it and have not had the luxuries of inheritances as the West E.U. has

Exactly!

Besides, you have a very low opinion of the Polish people as those who are only able to take but not give.

It's not a question of having a low opinion.
We all know what Poles are like when it comes to money.

84% of the Poles questioned in that poll were in favour of Poland's membership in the European Union.

Yeah, only as long as Poland is the largest net beneficiary of EU funds.......that will change in the future when Poland start to subsidise poorer states.

I disagree...a group of people with a common goal will always be more successful than the loner

Join Pawian in his insect theory then....,..I prefer humans,I stamp on and squash insects.

Look at what bees or ants are able to do. Individual approach will never reach that level.

I think your comparison of humans to insects is frankly disgusting.
A very Socialist trait.

because collective work always brings about more effects than individual one

I disagree,I don't think it ever has.
Individuals are the key,not colectiveism.

Poles will remain in favour of The EU as long as they are net beneficiaries.
With Poland's phenomenal growth,it will not be long before they are net contributors.
I cannot see Poles being very happy about supporting Greek and Italian wasters...

History / Why do Polish people hate to be called Eastern European? [120]

Geographically of course, the Poles are clearly Eastern European

I disagree.
I have met many Poles that object to being labeled "East European" and not just for cultural reasons.
Their most common response is "Look at a map" and they have a good point.
If European Russia is in Europe then it is clearly the most easterly point in Europe.
Then look at the map.
Poland is clearly Central European if you count European Russia as Europe's most eastern point.

History / Why do Polish people hate to be called Eastern European? [120]

Everyone knows Czechs and Slovaks are rude, weird and cold.

Not my experience, quite the reverse in fact.

Calling someone a European (not just Eastern European, but any kind of European) is an insult

I think your mind is a little messed up.

Too much medication or not enough?

Life / Feeling ashamed of my Polish heritage. [237]

My searches reveal that he is mainly talking about Crack dealers.
Not a hugely popular drug in England.
Dope,Coke and some pills are the most popular here now,and dope fluids for vaping are really catching on.
I can tell you that people dealing this stuff are making good money.

No,I'm just much more streetwise than you are.

I have to back bolek here.
Other immigrants have this problem too but the Pakistanis seem to be the worst along with Somalians.
I shouldn't talk though,as I couldn't speak English when I started school.....
