History / Do you regard the Polish Communist Partizans as heroes? [36]

It amazes me, where in hell do these soviet apologist come from

They are a minority in the ones that got left behind.
Families like yours and mine who escaped to the UK, USA, Canada and Australia do not suffer from this illness.

You are sick get some help

Agreed.
I can't understand any true Pole showing any sympathy to Polish communists at all.
And most won't.
Pawian has some strange left wing views that often cloud his judgement.

Love / Polish women and fertility [41]

There is also a statement in the article that the fertility rate for Polish women in the UK is 2.1 compared to 1.4 in Poland

Indeed, Poles will help to pay for the pensions of many old British people.
And I am sure that most Brits appreciate that.
But why is it that they "bonk" more in the UK than in Poland?

far-right movements attract around twice as many male supporters

Far right eh?
Not just right wing.
I would say that I am a Libertarian but lean to the right.
I support, for example Tommy Robinson.
For some people, that would be enough to label me as far right.
I have even been called a Nazi before.
But I do not share the extreme far right views posted on here mainly by Americans, Serbs and one German.
You guys are proper Nazis and truly nuts.......

Language / What were the first Polish words and phrases you have learned? [63]

Those are the first words that Brits and other nationalities learn from the Poles.
Kurwa seems to be the fourth word in every sentence from these young Poles, they seem to be incapable of completing a sentence without that word in it.

Never heard it from my parents.
The worst I ever heard was cholera and when I used it once my mum gave me a good ticking off......

not the United Kaliphate definition of Asian where ninjas from Syria and Iraq are considered Asians.

You see, you just get everything wrong because you don't know what you are talking about.
When British people refer to Asians they mean Pakistanis,Indians,Bangladeshis and Sri Lankans.
Syrians and Iraqis are Middle Easterners.

Food / Which foods are generally disliked/unpopular in Poland? Which non-Polish foods are slowly gaining popularity? [180]

Yes, I could smell it a long time ago but will never forget that fusty odour

The problem is cultural.
You just don't know how to cook it.
Lamb is delicious but it does have a strong flavour.I love it.
If Mutton is cooked properly, most of you would stuggle to distinguish it from beef.
But as Poles have so little decent beef to compare it to in Poland, that may be a problem......

Really? Statistics say sth else. :):)

They do.

Poland is a traditional conservative society i.e. the fact that the majority do

It is.

You both make good points and you are both right to a degree.
Dirk is right about now, what Pawian sees is that times are changing.
But they have not changed yet.
So Dirk is right for now.
Pawian is fortelling the future.

Life / Americanization of Poland - good or bad? [49]

Many Poles have left the city for the suburbs

The same is true of London, for the original Polish immigrants.
I am the last of my family not to have moved out.
The more recent immigrants came into the old Polish strongholds of Acton and Ealing ( or in a Polish accent Aktonn and Ealink) but because of rental and property prices have now moved further out to Greenford.Which is now almost completely Polish.

Life / Will Poland ever be multicultural like Sweden, Germany or France? [283]

Yes, I can and I will coz you need a lot of education

Nah, you just need to look at the facts. And they are that migrants are not saying "I need to get to the paradise that is Poland".

The fact is that there is no "Paradise" but Germany, Sweden and UK score well above Poland in their questionable opinions.
