Why didn't Germany invade Switzerland in World War II?

They took care of the Nazi money/Gold....they did nothing to disturb them and were willing to help and go along.
There was no reason to invade them!

Not so sure about that. Anyway, you almost never end up with "The pilot was a f*ck up". That doesn't answer why it happened. Was it training, stress, rest, etc...

I'm sure.
As I said before I have a relative who worked for decades at the airport and knows all about it.

If it is found that the pilot is to blame the family loses every claim of the insurance and the airline doesn't has to pay a dime....

There are actually not many categories...it's always either "technical error", something like "unpredictable event" (like a terrorist attack for example) or "human fault"....and it doesn't matter why the "human" "faulted"....if it's called that then the pilot's family is busted!

Oh I know that killing off your smart people is bad news for your, for ANY country because you are going to miss them. In what way did it help Germany for example???

I would wish for smart Jews coming to Germany again...look with what we have to fight today...

that is something I would agree with and I think there is a social theory re: the influence of the spoken language on the persons patterns of thinking, values etc. Language carries much more then just words.

That is not only a theory but proven. I remember reading articles about studies concerning this.

What's wrong with being exact and precise??? Using the german language might be a reason for the continued success of german inventors and engineers over the centuries...

Just because a language is "easy" doesn't make it better..."easy" is for stupids!

Apropos, I just read that there will be polish troops parading alongside russian troops in Moscow this 9th May...is this right? Woah what a development! :)

(And that there will be a russian parade in Kiev/Ukraine too...) Things are changing fast!

Germany is now third biggest arms dealer in the world - we still make fine stuff the world wants to buy, using it is another thing.

The region was so poor because it had poor management under Bismarck.

Well, I remember this differently...I learned that Silesia was a rich and developed region compared to others...

No we do not and actually I'm not interested in such useless discussions...I experienced socialism (as did many others around the world) as real as it will ever get, you will try to convince me of an idealistic version only viable in books etc.etc.etc.etc.

Leave us in the free West alone would you...why don't you go building up your fantasy world somewhere else!
