Unlike US the EU dont have shared computers YET.The usual process in Poland is also the same,the court will issue summons if they could find his address and then issue warrants,but since this case is not important they should not bother to look for his adress to deliver summons.Most likely nothing might happen now maybe when if they share computers.I imported a 2500$ car in 2001 and sold it and forgot about it until in 2011,I got a certified letter from the excise & customs(Uzad Celny) to pay duties amounting to 3000$ almost and increasing with heavy interest.I had to pay that to close that matter.Poland is now catching up so I wouldnt mess with the govt fines etc.

I remember when I imported my first 2 cars in 2001 and in 2008 I loaded them with VCRs,TVs,dvd players etc and nobody cared about that but when I imported after 2011 they even checked the cases of engine oil,bike rack and wrote that or pay customs on it.

WARNING to all Americans,Never lose your cell with all bank accts etc in i,better lose your passport you will get it in 15 minutes in the consulate/embassy with your picture adress and social.I lost my cell at London coming to Warsaw and had to fly back to pick it at London lost & found as they wanted 10 business days(2 weeks if no holiday) to send by courrier of my choice.Total expense with economy ticket 7500Pln.

You mean the brand names?They are still way expensive than in the US.Levis jeans for over 100 bucks,Tommy,R L Polo shirts for 125$,Addidas,Nike shoes etc are priced 3 times.Even the I phones are 50% more forget computer prices ,then here.Income wise Poland and in fact whole Europe is way behind.My Godson as an Engineer with 10 yr exp,looked at jobs in the EU but they pay 30 to 50% less with more tax, In US he makes 175k and in the EU he was offered max 110k.Rents and cost of living is also way higher in the EU with small flats.

If you dont get the appointment for long term stay visa,just show up and you can do that at the local immigration office in Poland.You will anyway have to translate and transfer your marriage certificate in Poland if you were not married there.

It depends on the bank,in some banks you dont need residency papers,just an address and a passport "Nest bank"in Warsaw is one.But the OP is looking to open online acct so its different.I opened my acct in 2000 with passport and a rented flat address,but the banks change there laws frequently.
