History / Future of Kaliningrad Oblast - is it possible to annex by Poland or will it become an independent country? [137]

Poland is already in the European commonwealth and NATO, specifically to protect herself from your 'commonwealth'/Soviet Union/Russian Empire.

you don`t know anything about my Commonwealth. you don`t know anything about loyalty and dedication.

i almost every year visiting grave of the Zawisha Czarny in Serbia, in Golubac. My Commonwealth shall arise and brake all those chains and golden cages.

there is nothing to `give back` to Germany by Russia. Region was previously, since time immemorial, Slavic and then Germanics conquered it. After conquered it Germanics turned region into the bastion of the Teutonic order. Then, Slavs took it back. It is now inter-Slavic thing. Poland have right to talk about it with Russia, other Slavs can also say what they have to say.

So, no. Russians won`t deliver it to the Germany.

Not to say that, on the long run, giving Kaliningrad to the Poland represent minimum what Russians must do to heal the rift between Poles and them. But of course, they won`t just give it. They would invest it Poland if Poland manage to found way to balance between west of Europe and Russia. Here we coming to the new Commonwealth. That is something what may benefit Poland (and many other countries from the Baltic to the Balkan and Black See), while in the same suits Russia and west of Europe.

But what is interesting, eventual new Commonwealth around Poland, may more suits to Russia then to the west of Europe.

News / Poland and Germany should unite, says Lech Walesa [102]

You call 94 years and 68 years "distantly"? In history, that's just a blink of an eye.

its nonsensical discussion when we know that most of the today`s German state was created in a process called ``Drang Nach Osten`` ie Germanization and stealing of western Slavonic lands (most of it, particularly Polish).

We may conclude, at the end of this discussion, that Pan Walesa actually propose re-Slavicization of the Germans, former Slavs; so he propose unity of Germany and Poland to relax this process.

to tell this way, it looks like that Pan Walesa metaphorically spread legs of the Germany while saying in the same time- ``let us unite``.

News / Poland and Germany should unite, says Lech Walesa [102]

If Poland merge with Germany, Poland would be assimilated and, with time, actually become just one of many regions (of the Slavic west) that was/is Germanized and annexed to Germany.

But, if Poland become leading country in a possible future new Commonwealth, most probably, Germany would become re-Slavicized with time. With new Commonwealth on the scene, Germany and Poland may replace strategic situation, in that part of Europe. It is Germany who shall then fear from partition.

So, we shall see who shall prevail. If Lech Walesa honestly suggests unity of Germany and Poland, it is for sure sign that he himself don`t see future of the Slavic Poland. If he just politically maneuvering, possible to buy time to Poland, its something else. We shall see

interesting development of European politics.

It sound as something from the opus of Samuel Huntington, which ignores Polish Slavic background when speak of future Poland`s position within global civilizations. But, that one Walesa, ignore that, i didn`t expect. Or we should maybe think that idea of the German-Polish unity coming as some kind of political maneuver. It must be maneuver because i don`t see Walesa as man who gave up from Slavic civilization. But, what kind maneuver? what for? to prove Poland`s loyalty to EU/NATO (via warm feeling on Germany in time when Polish public, from time to time, more often day by day, rising its voice against EU/NATO). what is this, i`m just curious. Or maybe, creating picture of its (Polish) close relations to Germany, Polish politician (Walesa) underlines differences between Russia and Poland. What are fears of Walesa, what are his hopes,.... interesting.

In any case, what upsets me here and in similar cases when i tries to contemplate on future of Slavic civilization (in the light of all kind of political ideas), is that Slavs, ordinary Slavs, still knows so little about real Slavic history, about Slavic contributions to the global civilization. As a result, Slavs are easy target for those who have plans with them, with Slavic countries and Slavic civilization in general. Great deal of responsibility for this goes on the account of souls of intellectual elite in Slavic countries and business magnates. One who don`t have his history, obviously don`t have his future.

UK, Ireland / Why are Polish people, especially women, so disrespectful toward the English? [437]

its instinct

when females (in this case Polish) faces opposition of their males (in this case English males) they have necessity to prove their loyalty to the males that are dominant in their eyes (in this case Polish males). Also, they are aware of the deeper confrontation between Polish and English males and they again proving their loyalty to their males (Poles). So, they resist

USA, Canada / Why indian origin woman as Miss America and never Polish origin? [40]

It seems to me that is not a very nice thing to say to anyone. I think you should apologize for that remark.

i am sorry if we didn`t understand each other. Remark isn`t my opinion about Poles in America but, critics of how are Poles positioned in USA. At least, that`s my opinion based not only on informations from media but also from a family history.

/and that is opinion of a Serbian which family has long history. 130 years ago family moved from Serbian Krajina (Lika) to the USA (Alaska) and Canada (Vancouver) and latter was concentrated in Utah, USA. Then, due to WWI my grandfather, 18 years old, came as volunteer in Serbian army- back then ally of the USA and fought on break of the Salonika front (Greece) taking part in pursue of the Austrian disordered and retreating troops all the way to the Vienna. He latter settled in Serbian Northern province of Voivodina./

So, i very very (VERY) well know what i talking about.

Except for some PolAms in the greater Chicago area, hardly anyone in the US ever talks about Poland or Poles...

yes. What i know there are at least 1 mil Poles and 300.000 Serbs plus other Slavs.

Due to their great number and high level or organization, Slavs are in Chicago serious factor, in any sense.

History / Polish and German Borders-Justice for Both Countries or not? [37]

i understand your approach. You, as myself, are man of peace.

Borders are fine but, we aren`t satisfied with them. Lethal methods for changing the borders aren`t acceptable but are even disgusting. So, among peaceful tools for affecting the borders i once proposed something like radio on some global frequency (for example as Deutsche Welle or VOA)- Polish Voice or Slavic Voice.

i am sure, with improved standard of living in Slavic countries, with progress,... power of a new radio Slavic Voice may greatly contribute that our people, that was in the past assimilated by the Germans or French or Brits,.... again, found scent and return to the Slavia. Then, with Slavs on the both sides of the border,... who would ask for borders.

Slavia

History / Are Poles happy with the current Polish borders? [134]

well said man. Absolutely. We need peaceful transition to that what can be described as Miedzymorze (Medjumurje- in Serbian) or let`s say some new Commonwealth. In any case, Pilsudski gave great contribution to the idea.

History / Are Poles happy with the current Polish borders? [134]

wrong.

Serbians have beautiful historical experience with Polish Catholics. I really do think that only word that can describe those relations can be only- beautiful.

On the other side, Croatian Catholics at first pledged to destroy Catholic Serbs committing cultural violence on them and, then, developed genocidal ideology against Orthodox Serbs and finally committed genocide on them. Now, Croatia represent German and not Vatican`s satellite so one can`t say who is to be blamed- Vatican or Germans.

I just asked two Serbs. They said they'd never thought about Polish borders and didn't much care about Serbian ones.

i would even go that far to tell you that i currently think solely about borders around my weekend house. Just, romantic me, when contemplate, i have such a nice visions of one new nicer Europe without Anglo-Germanic domination and, to tell you, i have full understanding for the deeds of Gavrilo Princip

well, speaking in general, Serbians aren`t happy with current Polish borders. Poland should be bigger. Current situation humiliates us. Even existence of the German state is a scandal of cosmic proportions.

History / What do Poles think about Turks? [761]

Do you have an idea how many Serbs live in Germany? It's almost 500.000 - more than 6% of all your countrymen chose to live their lives in an "Non-Slavic" country - and it's getting even more day by day.

yes, until Germany fall down. It already begins to crumble

Crow, you really need to arrive in the 21st century! This means Kosovo is lost for Serbia. The only way to get it back would be war and ethnic cleansing. And don't forget: Serbia is just like a Nokia mobile phone. It is getting smaller after every war it was fighting recently!

War was and is imposed to Serbians and Serbians are greatest victims of ethnic cleansing in past 20 years. Mark my words- Serbians would strike back, one day

Ottoman Turks tried and got penis
Austro-Hungaria tried and got penis
Nazi Germany tried and got penis
Soviet Union tried and got penis

See? Why USA and EU wouldn`t get penis, too? They would get

You are getting it wrong, too.

Exactly. They were forced to recognize reality and they would learn what is reality, again. Where is Serbian state there is Slavija. When events forces Serbians to retreat, its actually Poland and Russia who retreat. Poland and Russia would support us, again. Ukraine and other Slavs would follow. Slavic world needs strong Serbia
