Good. There will definitely be one in Toruń as well, but it hasn't been officially confirmed yet.

I hope places such as Zielona Góra will join us, too.

Labrador and me shall be there

Watch out for the invisible attack dogs the Polish police have.

I see that something is being planned for Lublin but no details yet as to where exactly.

And just because either Greggy, Ironside or Polonius will be along soon to say something about the lack of protests abroad :

London : Embassy of the Republic of Poland, 47 Portland Place. 19.12 at 12:00.

I've been told that there will be demonstrations in Brussels and in Berlin too, but nothing official yet.

No news yet about Berlin, but the organisational meeting is tonight.

Final update for tonight : all demonstrations at 12.00 on Saturday 19th December

Missed that one Harry. A joke I presume? My four footed friend can't fight back as he is too docile, and I would have to go to war on his behalf if he were threatened.

I'm not docile.....

This thread may be closed again, due to Harry trying to bait another member.

Ah...I see Vincent...

I think that was quite witty of Harry, but then you don't do wit in America do you? The US needed 30 writers to concoct a single lame episode of "Friends."

As to the police, anything is possible here in Poland, but let us hope it doesn't revert to shootings on the street, like is bulk-standard in the good old US of A right?

Meaning, it wasn't baiting - it's called barbed humour.

Torun, Rynek Staromiejski.

All on Saturday 19.12 at 12:00.

I urge absolutely everyone that cares about Poland to attend one of these demonstrations if you can. These demonstrations are about urging the President and government to stop treating the Constitution like a piece of trash and to behave in accordance with the law.

Yeah, you spam it everywhere you can and then wank around how "popular" it is, If the whole thing was so popular, you wouldn't have to beg here.

stop treating the Constitution like a piece of trash

That's what was happening 6 month ago.

What matters

What matters are the privilege, influence and interests of the banksters and exploiters which the bamboozled marchers do not realise they're defedning.

What matters is the fact that at the last count, there are over 20 separate demonstrations on Saturday. That matters.

Latest information : Kielce will also hold a demonstration, although the location is waiting to be confirmed.

These demonstrations are about

These demonstrations are really about creating a smoke-screen to conceal the dirty machinations of the bankster elite. March the hell out of the deluded masses, get them hoarse from chanting freedom, democracy, constitution and the (PO-stacked) TK forever, and they won't have enough stamina and clarity of mind to see through the monumental ruse.

What matters is

What matters is to swell the crowd size whilst taking pains not to let the cat out of the bag, ie the real reason the bankster elite are so keen on promoting the street mayhem: their privileged status is threatened!!!

stop treating

Stop treating the Polish nation like a piece of human trash, like verbal cannon fodder to assail those who want protect Poland from the exploitative bankster elite.

Kraków - Rynek Główny

I always thought Krakow voters were so far up their own arses that they were solidly behind PIS?

I would very much second that. And also tell all the Poles you know that you are going to protest in support of democracy and the constitution: them hearing that a foreigner is acting to defend what is best about their country may well help spring them into action (Poles tend to take pride in their country).

Stop treating the Polish nation like a piece of human trash, like verbal cannon fodder to assail those who want protect Poland from the exploitative bankster elite.

How is that comment related to the topic of this thread and not a post purely designed to bait another poster?

Which is quite remarkable really. A nuisance that it's so close to Christmas, but at the moment it looks like they'll be a regular thing.

At least 50-60k.

Lay off those drags my friend. There were about 15k people at the highest. I would say about nine in reality.
Makes no difference nobody is going to care about people who are unable to face results of the election.

What do you expect ? Dude himself admitted that this is "important" because PF's content is high in google. So they will spread all these bullshyt here to mislead foreign readers. Manipulations and lies, so much for "democracy".

ROFL! Here's the reality: vimeo.com/148752537
That's a drone camera film of the protest. Would you like google map links so you can measure the length of the crowd for yourself?

Anyone who has seen a really huge crowd of people knows that this is nothing even close to 100, 70 or even 50 thousand people. So you dragged ~0.03% of voters to the street and now wank all over the place about it. Marian Kowalski got several time as "many" voters during latest presidential. So much for "huge support".

Yeah, It's "Arab spring" kind of "revolution" designed and controlled from abroad. And we both now that it can get worse to Kosovo/Donbas level.

20 separate demonstrations

ATTENTION: KOD SUPPORTERS!
There are essentially two kinds of KOD supporters on PF:
--Those deluded into believing this is all about defending and promoting democracy (the majority);
--And the in-the-know minority to whom all the high-sounding clap-trap is a load of BS but have a vested interest in defending and safeguarding the existing elite.

Which one are you?

Anyone that wonders why there are demonstrations all over Poland and abroad on Saturday should look at the posts above. The attempts to insult, berate and put down KOD show exactly what we're fighting for - our free and democratic Poland.

That's a drone camera film of the protest.

The camera doesn't lie.

These demonstrations are growing in number, and we will keep at it until PiS learn the basic rules of law and democracy, neither of which they respect.

Toronto - Consulate of the Republic of Poland - 2603 Lakeshore Blvd West.

Join us. Everyone is welcome.

There are essentially two kinds of KOD supporters on PF:

Always good to see a PIS supporter trying to insult those who support democracy.

For one thing it shows the fear and desperation that now characterise the poor PISites; for so long they dreamed about gaining power and getting revenge but now they have their 18% regime it's all turning into a nightmare for them as tens of thousands of people take to the streets in tens of Polish cities and stop PIS from ignoring the rule of law and the constitution.

For another thing it helps harden the resolve of those who do not wish to see the government of Poland ignoring the constitution anytime it wants to.

Please Polo, keep on with the insults; but perhaps you could make them in another thread? This thread is supposed to be about "Demonstrations in Poland in defence of democracy". I would be happy to start another thread for you titled "PIS supporters insult supporters of democracy and the constitution and thus help bring about the end of the 18% regime".

And we both now that it can get worse to Kosovo/Donbas level.

Ukrainian and Kosovo scenarios are always an option for those who control Poland. That is exact reason why are Polish patriots step ahead of EU. That is why they always underline (citation), in numerous occasions: ``Kosovo is Serbia, Silesia is Poland.`` Our Polish sisters and brothers knows who threatening to Poland and that`s why they giving signals to Serbians, expecting us that we make an effort to secure Polish eastern border, at least, so that Poles can focus on immediate threat from the western side.

You are not alone Poles, i can tell you that one. Racowie won`t forget their duty. Long live Poland!

Always good to see a PIS supporter trying to insult those who support democracy.

It's exactly these constant insults - "traitors", "Gestapo" and so on - that are helping put so many people on the streets.

People have a choice - they can sit back and watch as PiS destroy this country by ignoring the Constitution, the law and by changing the civil service law so they can appoint endless cronies to senior positions - or we can take to the streets and show them that we won't accept it.

update : Not confirmed, but Tarnów is apparently joining us on Saturday.

Add another to the list :

Zielona Góra - outside the town hall (Ratusz) in Stary Rynek.
