He denounced his Polish citizenship for British one.

denounced or renounced? And usually citizenship (especially when it was renounced for no longer reigning political conditions) can be regained if a person wants it...

and the Ukrainians should learn Polish.

Many of them already do. Do you think Polish sounds nicer than Ukrainian?

The latest proposal in Poland by a certain group on FB has been to hand over the Małopolskie and Podkarpackie voivodships to Ukraine on the grounds that around 70% of people in those areas cast their vote for Duda.

- "We don't need such people in this country", was claimed in their FB appeal.

Nah. Make them another Kaliningrad Oblast, they'll be much happier in the Russian Federation than in Ukraine.

Seriously speaking though, I know one guy from Podkarpackie, and he says that among his friends in the village, there's an overwhelming sense that only PiS actually bother with them. He gave the example of how the village hall was renovated, and PiS sent some minor bureaucrat from Warsaw to attend. The guy was a total nobody, but the point was that this guy came all the way from Warsaw to open their hall next to the wójt and the sołtys. End result? People think "good PiS".

all commies sent to the moon on board of a Tesla machine.

hmm if I may be so bold to point out what is incorrect:
- all commies put to work. To rebuild what they have destroyed and no tax money for them.
- plus some land to the north and some to the south of what you have suggested.

He denounced his Polish citizenship for British one.

wrong! lol! On both counts! Try again you mental midget,

a certain group on FB

your fiends I'm sure, a fresh new batch of commies

Which is kind of true.... a consistent problem with PO was that they couldn't even pretend to care about the working or rural classes... while PiS is good at PRL style 'send a minor dignitary to make 'em think we care' style gestures.

That's one reason I had high hopes for double K but he took the high road (which seldom pays off in politics).

Time of PiS yet to come. IF PiS play well on more and more important questions such are - sovereignty, deflection from EU, stronger Visegrad, Serbia and above all, Ukraine and especially western Ukraine. This will all also be followed with more contacts with USA and Russia.

So how I read and understand political scene in Poland, I do expect Duda and PiS to start more openly speak of Lwow and western Ukraine, during this new Duda`s mandate.

It should be a national mandate. Ukrainians need to be Polanified. Women will go for it, just so long as their Ukrainian suitors are not circumcised by the Russian Orthodox Church. If you interested in learning more of this issue, look at the circumcision article on the pornographic website Wikipedia.

PS: Did you hear the rumor that the genocide in Ukraine was largely a Jewish effort?

Lvov

Gummi, why are you using Lvov rather than Lwów/Lviv? Lvov is the Russian name, so I'm surprised to see you use it!

Russian name is Львов. ;)

No need to split hairs ;)

As an aside, I've been to Brest, and it's very surprising to me how the Soviet Union kept the character of the city intact. The city itself feels more like how a Polish city would have developed if it wasn't for WW2, and it's a very clean, peaceful place. I've got some pictures that show how clean everything is there, and then the shocking comparison with the Polish town of Łuków which was full of garbage everywhere, including a huge amount of trash by the side of the road.

Lvov is the Russian name,

sorry I'm not used to the Ukrainian name - it sounds strange - and I wanted to used a name that is internationally recognizeable - maybe it was not the based choice though

Obviously key to the question!

Ukrainians need to be Polanified.

I think it's hardly possible unless Ukraine will be administered from Poland, at least partially, or there will be a huge economic cooperation between the two.

I think call1n is a troll - noone sane in Poland wants any part of Ukraine or Polonization of Ukrainians

Aha! I was quite surprised, because I thought you'd use the Polish name for sure :)

Yeah, the Ukrainian names are awkward in pronounciaton for me - Kharkiv is a good example.

I think call1n is a troll - noone sane in Poland wants any part of Ukraine or Polonization of Ukrainians

He doesn't speak Polish and lives in the US, so I think it's safe to ignore his opinions on the matter. There might be a few fringe lunatics out there who want it back, but I doubt they want to pay for it.

Let Ukraine be Ukraine!

Just like that? Because you like the idea? That state never existed as state of Ukrainian people or nation. Slavic tribes there were even before God had plans for Greeks or Romans oriented on what is now Russia (ie in past, read- Scythia/Sarmatia Asiatica, nomadic Sarmatians) and Poland (ie in past, read- Sarmatia Europae, sedentary Sarmatians). Russians even were formed as ethos from within Slavic tribes of what is now Ukraine. Only later, with foreign influence (but after all, no matter which influences), appeared unique traits that led to formation of Ruthenians and Ukrainians but, never had their own states. In the meanwhile, even Serbs from Balkan, refugees who retreated from Ottoman Empire, formed two of their own regions, states, there.

So, I even don`t know how western Europe even dare to think of meddling in Ukraine. Its such an idiotic for them to meddling that I even can`t find proper word to describe it. By the God, even eastern Germans were Slavs less then 300 years ago. Are you all mad on west of Europe? You all were Slavs in past. Now you don`t wish to be Slavs, its alright but, why meddling in Slavic world?? Its madness.

And when we are at it, why non speak of Ruthenian state? Why only rights to those who feel Ukrainian, with all due respect on them??? Are you all people here on forum deluded and stupid and dishonest and crazy? Not a single word on Ruthenians here.

hat state never existed as state of Ukrainian people or nation.

It does now. And has done on and off for a long time.

Slavic tribes there were even before God

So what?
