btw, Bartek in Polish can mean Bartłomiej, indeed, but it's also used for Bartosz, I'm not sure which name is more popular (Bartłomiej or Bartosz).

Well I stoped using polish fonts so people can see letters rather than bunch of question marks.

as for other names... there are 3 which like in particular

Grzegorz - Greg
Tadeusz - Ted (im not realy sure)
Jordan - Jordan

is that the friendly/nice/short way to say his name, i used to say 'Kasia' for Katarzyna it was shorter and easier :)

the problem you are talking about is rather connected to poor HTML-coding, this site seem to support the fonts well, it's like with Chinese - on some sites all you can see is a "bunch of question marks", but on other you can actually see the text correctly

Guys: Andrzej, Jan, Henryk, Marek, Karol, Kazimierz, Maciej, Michał, Tomasz, Stanisław, Wojciech, and Paweł

Girls: Agata, Ewa, Agnieszka, Ola (nickname for Aleksandra), Anna, Klaudia, Magdalena and its short form of Magda, Małgorzata, Maria, Katarzyna, and Natalia

My Fathers name was Stefan and my Grandfathers name was Grzegorz, do not know if they are popular or not but they are the only two I know.

Oh, they do! I gave my daughter the name of Mela when she was born... Her doctor's nurses always mispronounce it, to the point I don't even correct them... juts roll my eyes.
