, Earl Grey (10.2%)

Earl Grey is also a black tea. It's very tasty, I drink it with lemon or lime.

Interesting, do you know which parts of Poland they come from?

typical English black tea is much different to what is considered regular tea by Polish people - I was not a fan

Scattered about. A couple from south-eastern Poland, Czarna Górna, Ustrzyki Dolne, others from Warsaw, Wrocław, Grudziądz, Raba Wyżna, Nowy Targ.

"Tea is one of Poland's most popular drinks - 98% of Poles declare drinking it on regular basis.

I'm quite shocked by that. Maybe when they came to the UK they decided they didn't like the tea here ;)

I'm guessing it's much stronger.

Polish tea ( I'm not talking about some herbal substitutes) seems watery in comparison with British tea, but then British tea needs to be drunk with milk.

If you want Early Grey with extra citrus, try Lady Grey tea (only from Twinings).

Lady Grey tea

This probably won't replace tea with a real slice of lemon. 🫖🍵

Coffee has become very expensive, now costing around €10 for half a kilo. Stores protect their coffee with special anti-theft devices, I've seen it myself.

I wonder why that would be? The EU regulations?

I thought crime did not exist in Europe. No theft in the center of cultural behavior, why do you need anti-theft devices? Are you suggesting that peaceful
newcomers might be a problem? You might as well know, there was a shortage created for weak-minded idiots like Golden Moron, for example, the shortage magically disappeared with a higher price. One day, severe shortage, next day the land of plenty. That's what I call creative modus operandi.

Commodity traders buying it all up years in advance and betting on future prices. Every time an investor speculates/gambles, money comes out and has to be paid in the end.

That and some bad weather in South America and supply chain issues globally.

Most non-Chinese imports will be getting dearer.

As prices rise, coffee consumption should decline. On the other hand, coffee is addictive.☕

coffee is addictive.

It's the caffeine that's addictive, coffee is just the carrier.

coffee is just the carrier.

I wonder if, due to climate change would be possible to grow coffee in Poland?

This isn't a humid tropical climate yet. Neither coffee nor tea will grow. And even if they did grow, cultivation would be rather unprofitable due to labor costs.
