watch earthlings and watch dominion

I don't respond well to orders, especially from proselytizers....

Veganism functions as a kind of pseudo-religion and slaughterhouse footage is the vegan crucifix....

I've seen factory farm and slaughterhouse footage before, and I'm still an omnivore.

I'm all for improving the treatment of food animals within the context of being an omnivore.

I'm not interested in consuming hyper-produced industrial plant sludge.

@mafketis
I heard from a family member who works in the food industry that having the animals relaxed right before their slaughtered increases the quality of the meat.

Exactly, that's how Temple Grandin was able to get people to follow her protocols...

Latest vegan cringe/drama.... the Notorious Jame A (who's always sounded kind of borderline retarded to me) is either being conned or actively trying to con others with some kind of shady bitcoin scheme with a roided up (coked up?) bipolar dudebro in Panama....

Amazing video from someone who was briefly almost conned by them...

proselytizers

hehe, looked it up, difficult word, wow I learn so much here!

I don't respond well to orders

well, that is a good thing

I'm not interested in consuming hyper-produced industrial plant sludge.

me neither

slaughterhouse footage is the vegan crucifix....

slaughterhouse footage is the reality, and you pay for it
you consume it
just because of your lust for flesh
you do not want to take the response-ability to change anything

the animals in this industry are so sick and tortured
they have to inject them with many chemicals to keep them alive
not to speak about the treatment they get
for no reason but our lust
and you absorb the result of that with your own body
including all the chemicals and antibiotics that the animals get
that won't break down when you cook it

you see, if you consume misery than....
see the result in todays world
we do not give a **** about other living beings
others don't give a **** about us

the world of today is the result of our collective lack of morality
enjoy the show, it's gonna get worse and rough

Could you point me to a time in history when the world was or at least tried to be more humane to animals?

My friend consumes meat only when she can hunt it herself or knows the origin of the product very well. Other than that she is vegetarian

I don't know Lenka. Maybe in Tibet or other bhuddist countries.
But I highly doubt it.

Humans are not very good at being nice to others, especially not if they cannot defend themselves.
This is because we are selfish and without morals.

We think we are entitled to enslave, torture and slaughter other living beings and their children
Lick our fingers from the fat that comes from their bodies.
Because we have the illusion that we are superior.

When I think about it, no, I think we have always been full of **** to animals.

I think we have always been full of **** to animals.

And is there any carnivore that would pass on a human baby if they had a chance?
mafketis 37 | 10,871

Maybe the vegan propaganda (that doesn't mention specific youtube videos or channels) can be moved to random? No need for it here...

any carnivore that would pass on a human

So first we are superior to animals, but now you want to compare yourself on an equal level.
That is weird.

And is there any

Sadly, time after time (The Siege of Leningrad, the Holodomor, various shipwrecks etc) people have had to do that.

Some mesolithic archeology also suggests it used to be commonplace among humans.

I once went on a pub crawl and for a curry with a famous cannibal (before he ate anybody). I found him to be a rather unpleasant and disturbed person.

Because we have the illusion that we are superior

It is not an illusion.
We are superior.
I hate veganism, it is just another of the new "right on" cults.
Humans are natural omnivores, we need both plants and meat to remain healthy.
If you contradict what I have just said then you contradict nature..... not advisable.

We are superior.

In what way and how are we superior?

If you contradict what I have just said then you contradict nature

Ask Patrik Baboumian.

100% VEGAN

Patrik

Patrik was the "Strongest Man of Germany" winning the national German Strongman competition in 2011 in the open division.

By the way, he is a better sportsman than speaker :D
But I salute him.

100% VEGAN

If we're going to have this discussion here.... it's not clear at all if veganism is scalable... over 80% who try a vegan diet give it up and feelings of dysphoria can apparently last for years...

I'm sure that some people can make a vegan diet work but a lot of others (doing everything 'right') can't make it work.

Maybe in 50 or 100 or so years it will feasible but.... at present it's a non-starter.

In what way and how are we superior?

In the survival of the fittest contest. We are killing animals faster than animals kill us.
Claiming that we are not superior equals claiming that we are inferior as no two things are ever equal.

In what way and how are we superior?

Apex predators like lions can just lie around all day. The cheetah isn't an apex predator so evolved the skill to run faster than lions. We're crap at hunting, only have two legs rather than four, and are easy prey for a lot of species. So we evolved resourcefulness.

I'm sure that some people can make a vegan diet work

The most successful vegan I know doesn't describe herself as a vegan, doesn't feel the need to tell people all the time and occasionally enjoys (with the emphasis on the word enjoy) non-vegan things it if there's something with meat of fish that she really fancies eating. She looks 2 decades younger than her age and is extremely healthy.

She wouldn't be accepted as a vegan my most who use that label.

I do actually agree that too many people eat too many animal products (esp meat) of low quality and the animal products mostly should be more expensive (enforced humane protocols escalate price, yes, good). Traditionally most cultures use meat more as a seasoning than a main ingredient..

But the leap to veganism doesn't follow.... I (and a bunch of others) have the idea that the media push toward veganism is corporate sponsorship to raise food prices (since vegan meat substitutes made up hyper-processed plant sludge are more expensive than meat).

Humans aren't herbivores and many/most end up malnourished on vegan diets....

That can't be worse than the mechanically separated meat sludge in Biedronka ready made lasagne. Or can it?

meat sludge in Biedronka

You guys really put down Biedronka a lot, is it really that bad? Ive been inside a couple of them, the ppl that work there are really nice at the location by my in-laws. it didnt seem that bad to me, but didnt buy the Polska Lasagna. I already understand Pizza in Poland is horrible sludge, dont ever buy Italian style food there.

It's ok. Better than most of the shops that used to be. Just avoid their ready-made lasagne.

Pizza in Poland

Telepizza and DaGrasso are a crime against society. It's possible to get decent pizza though if you know where to go.

ust avoid their ready-made lasagne.

Its just a bad as that Vegan then. When I first heard of Vegan, I actually thought it was sth from Las Vegas..lol

As long as the Pizza doesnt have Corn or Ketchup. We ordered a Pizza and it didnt have any sauce on it, crazy!

Corn is lovely on pizza!

I miss Polish pizza sometimes. I like lots of ingredients.

Corn is lovely on pizza!

Begone demon!!!!!!

The only acceptable ingredients on pizza....

ground sausage (no casing)
pepperoni
green bell peper slices
onion slices
mushrooms (champignons)
cheese (the more the better)
anchovies
shrimp (maybe... kind of wild and crazy but it just might work)
broccoli (without any of the above except cheese - a local pizza place where I went to uni had deep dish broccoli slices that were really great).

I'm not crazy about the Polish tradition of squirting ketchup on pizza... the newer tradition of sauce (tomato and usually... garlic?) on the side is also kind of weird....

Also, room temperature leftover pizza is the greatest breakfast in the history of humanity....

I'll pass on that and the spinach, but I'll have extra chillis and capers, please.

And no ketchup, ever.

I think its because they dont use any sauce for a base in Poland, its crazy. Poles in Chicago still squirt ketchup all over it, but you have to add your own corn, cant buy it this way. We have authentic Italian Pizza here and proud of it..Corn! Hahaha

Have you tried Hawaiian style with bacon and pineapple? Strange indeed but popular in weird places like California.

broccoli (

Spinich goes well on Pizza, haven't tried shrimp yet.

Saugage
Bacon
Green Pepper
Onion

Or just a plain pepperoni,,hehe

r pizza is the greatest breakfast in the history of humanity....

Yes Indeed! VegansπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

What about anchovies?

I remember when they were the most controversial ingredient (apparently pizza places hate them because they stink up the kitchen long after they're gone).

What about anchovies?

I dont like them but you can still order them.

How about Chicago style deep dish? You can only eat one piece. I took my friend from the UK here and he called it a pie.
