News / Poland's Future Includes Fewer Poles, More Foreigners [324]

The IRA continued to organise in all parts of the Island until very recently. The so called Celtic Tiger economy is largly tied up with Globilisation and would have happened irrespective of IRA activity

yes they had commanding men head of the IRA council in every county. especially around cork. but most of all attacks was carried out by the PIRA in northen ireland and on the border of county louth. The IRA had still nothing to do with ireland not growing

when?

pretty much when the free state was changed to republic of ireland..some members moved across to the north of ireland to help the IRA who was based in the 6 counties. Most activitives took place in south armagh,..also known as bandit country. this was the IRA strong hold. the provos where in a league of there own compared to any of the rest.

For a second there i actually thought you were Polish becaue your beginning to sound like one with all that nonsense. Poland is growing, and will continue to grow of course, your way of the mark if you think its going to become some kind of super power or place to be though.

believe me...fuk it you will see...republic of ireland was one of the poorest countries in the world and now its one of the richest.

UK, Ireland / EU integration of Polish nationals in the UK vs no surrender [43]

News / EU constitution: 'Strong show' for Irish No vote ? [126]

i can laugh at you people the money ireland has got out of the eu has nothing to do with it....irish people were not informed about this treaty and first of all this treaty would not have helped the people of europe.it was just have lined the pockets of the top men..and another thing ireland let its people have say in its own country...i know for sure if everyother country had a vote other countries would have said no...this is not the end of this treaty...it will be the end of the lisbon 1 and it will change its name and a few rules and thats it maybe it will even be called the good friday agreement :P :D lol

History / Why has Poland been attacked so often by its neighbors? [180]

well at one time poland ruled the nest away back in 1540's...but the reason poland was attacked was not just for its beauiful women but it was because poland was a country with alot of materials such as salt mines. coal mine's and i forget the other thing it was something like mmm type of powder so it was worth quite alot of money to these other countries

UK, Ireland / ARE YOUNG BRITS LESS INTELLIGENT THAN POLES? [56]

i dont believe in this....every person no matter where they are from will do the work if they put their brains to it...the reason you get alot of better students in poland is because they need to get good grades at uni to be able to live a good life in poland....
