Polish teenagers in UK colleges

Hello there. I am just curious about opinions from Polish teenagers who attend FE colleges. In my town (Barnsley) there are only 2 other Polish... I am on BTEC Nat Dip for IT Practitioners and it is ok, totally different than Polish school

there are a fair few polish people attending courses at doncaster college .. most do english courses but the polish tutor that teaches polish on monday and thursday at doncaster is doing a degree in Management and in september i know she is doing her PGCE which is a teaching qualification .. :)

Probably ESOL, there are also some Polish in Barnsley College who attend this course. Hmmm... maybe then there will be opportunity to get GCSE Polish :D

my cousin who is 16 did her GCSE in Polish at Armthorpe Comprehensive here in Doncaster and i have provided links on another thread to the AQA polish exam papers from 2007 and 2006 obviously at the time being 2008 exam papers arent on there :)

I am not sure about now but many years ago it was possible to do G.C.S.E. Polish at the Polish POSC Institute in Hammersmith, West London. The examination was held once a year at two centres, one being Ravenscourt and the other was Sheffield. POSC in Hammersmith used to hold Saturday classes too for both G.C.S.E. and G.C.S.E. 'A' level.

I have just couple of miles to Sheffield :O Maybe someday I will be able to do it.

Mind you, I am talking about fifteen years ago so maybe not now? G.C.S.E. Manachest board will be able to confirm dates and venues.

you should move to belfast :P as far as i heard there will be a polish school opened their in september.
