It's like watching your favourite tv show standing outside Rumbelows it's dark, don't go in there she's going in he's going to kill her look he's hiding behind the couch i'm sure he was holding a knife oh god don't go in or at least put the light on looking through half closed eyes now.

Helena the first thing you have to realise there are no rules. It is best to chant that to yourself over and over as you post. That's rule 1 obviously.
Expect it to be moved and or deleted and delight in your victories when after 24 hours they still are where you left them. That's the Car Key Rule. :)

Now we're heading into the murky world of lawyers without a change of footwear, this is brave pioneering stuff.
Governments rule by the consent of the people who can't consent until an age when the government says they can. You can't just blithely say governments are only good for taxs but leave our parades alone. That's going to confuse some Beavers not to mention their spiritual leader. Perhaps that's where they got the idea from? I digress :)
private things such as sex is nobody's bussiness and that applies to all sexual orientations.
I thought it wasn't about the sex and I must admit I am starting to worry, normally I wouldn't say anything, but there is a man a few doors down, he's always just in shot when the local school kicks out and i've heard rumours he's a little too friendly with the local wildlife in a non RSPCA approved way, should I notify the authorities? He doesn't want a parade though, so that's a relief. In fact he seems to be a Roy Orbison impersonator. Lots of them around. :)

1940:Defeat against Wehrmacht in France. Rescue in Normandy due to Hitler's generosity.
The BEF had a lucky escape. True.
1941:Defeat against Wehrmacht in Norway
Operation Claymore or Archery? Both were Commando raids designed to disrupt and tie up German materiel. Both were very successful if memory serves.
1941:Defeat against Wehrmacht in Greece
The British expressly stated they could not provide enough manpower to repluse any German attack. That being the case, it's hardly surprising.
1941:Defeat against Wehrmacht in Kreta
Freyberg (Enzedder btw) and his troops inflicted heavy losses on the Fallschirmjäger during the battle, to such an extent that Hitler never allowed another Airborne operation to be carried out. They were beaten yes, but were beaten more by mistakes in command and control, rather than superior opposition.

The quality of the German troops here was phenomenal. The Canadians and Brits tasked with taking the city did a very good job against a fanatical foe.

I'm actually bored now but lightly armed paratroopers holding out against the 2nd Panzer Corps for a week and only withdrawing after the linkup forces including Polish 3 para could not get across the Rhine. Trust me -- this works!
The Association for Pushers of the Don't Push Me Button and other Vacuous Undertakings yesterday released the findings of their study into following any advice ending on trust me -- this works. The report concluded that they had found the findings were inconclusive but decided to do it anyway. The report concluded 80% of the participants had experienced feelings of regret.
