Love / Friendship With a Polish Women [29]

The thing is i really want to become good friends with her to the point where i can i meet up with her outside of work and do stuff but

You really want to be good friend or date with her ?

but its so damm hard for me to understand her.

It can be difficult with a girl you don't understand.

age difference but after reading some posts on this forum that does not seem the case.

Only believe % 10 of the things you read in this forum. And forget this % 10 in next 48 hours (That's what doctors say).

I really want to get to know her better and maybe she will even open up to me in the future.

Generally it is not a good idea to date with someone from work. But if you really want to know her better you can already do it at work. If you want to date her don't care what will be the result and talk to her and forget everything in 48 hours if the result is negative (Again doctor's advice).

It's best practice for a man to talk to a girl he likes and acting before thinking a lot.

Wish you success

Food / Kebab Meat = Baranina? [10]

they have only a few kebabs

Not as much as we have but Lebanese Restaurants are also making good Kebabs.

arabs have no meal culture at all.

I don't agree with this. They have very good starters (meze) and salads like humus, fattoush (my favourite), falafel. Some Turkish food has arabic origin also some arabic foods has Turkish origin. They maybe have less species but still has some very delicious dishes.

My home city is Malatya, try to taste some Kagit Kebab if you go there. There are some special restaurants and ovens only for Kagit Kebab.

Food / Kebab Meat = Baranina? [10]

hundreds of different kebabs here in turkey.

You are right. In Poland only Doner, Shawarma (in arabic) is known as Kebab. In fact it is not even a Kebab. There are some Lebanese and Turkish restaurants who cooks real Kebab but they mostly use beef instead of lamb so it doesn't taste same.

By the way Kagit Kebab is my favorite it would be nice to be my home city only for one dish of it.

Life / Why do so many people in Poland have issues with Judaism? [69]

We failed to keep Constantinopol because the West did not help and Russia was a mess at the moment overridden by Mongols and Tatars.

Which west you wanted help. This is the map of Ottoman Empire, you wanted all known world to support you. You ruled and your time was over, get over it.

Food / Horsemeat, anyone? [62]

There are traditional dishes made by horse meat in middle asia. I have tried it in Uzbekistan it was a starter dish (cold horse meat) I just get one bite but didn't like it was hard and tasteless for me (maybe because of preparation). But I know it is eaten in many middle asia countries like Azerbaijan, Kirghizstan Turkmenistan. There is also a drink which is made from horse milk whose name is kumiss (kımız in Turkish).

Food / Gloria Jeans Coffee's Warsaw [13]

American-style coffee popular in Turkey? Almost like taking coals to NewCastle or selling snow to Eskimos!!!

Turkish coffee is hard to prepare and too strong to drink instead of normal coffee. So even before these chains people like to drink american style coffee in big cities.

News / What needs to happen in the world so that Poland and Russia form alliance? [297]

Greaks and Serbs would make a little deal, few territorial compensations and, Turkey would be past. Russia would provide vodka for the party

You are really funny Crow. I give you an advantage, add three more countries you like to your deal and try whatever you were imagining, result will be failure for you again.

ConstantineK:
european nations are totally incapable and you need somebody to protect you.
well, i am on the half way to start to believe that Russia needs to bring us freedom and democracy.

yes, Russia should spread democracy a little. Start from Lusatia and Kosovo, please

Russia and democracy, this two words should not be used in same sentence yet. If you are not strong as they are, you can only be a puppet of Russia not a partner.

History / Only two countries in Europe did not accept XVIIIc partitions of Poland.. [54]

actually Turks has nothing with coffee. They don`t drink it. They never used coffee and just coffee caravans travelled across Turkish territory in Anatolia. Even Turks who drink coffee doing that being influenced by Europeans

Come on!

realcoffee.co.uk/Article.asp?Cat=history&page=3

"Historians tell us that coffee was first introduced to Europe by an accident of war. In 1683, when the Turkish army fought a battle with the Austrian army, the Turks accidentally left sacks of coffee beans behind when they retreated from the gates of Vienna. The Austrians quickly realized what kind of treasure the Turkish army had been given them. So the Austrians decided to develop their own special blend of coffee."

Life / The Polish police in my apartment, asking for my passport and phone number. [33]

pgtx

Thank you I am tired to make comments about stupid posts. I now only ignore them (there are many in this thread).

mafketis

Thank You. I'll try to do that

BTW, it is a clever way of yours to let us know that Polish women are after you.

I wish they were but they are not . I am a nerd type of guy, I don't think any polish lady would be after me before I am after them :) . BTW I think also thread header is changed by the admin and made more interesting :) My header was only "the police in my apartment".

Life / The Polish police in my apartment, asking for my passport and phone number. [33]

I moved warsaw a month ago. 15 minutes ago a police came to my apartment. I couldn't understand what she was saying I tried to call my flat owner but didn't answer. She then asked for my passport and phone number and took some notes and leave.

Is this something usual ? What it can be for ?

Love / Please I need advice. Are Polish Girls and Poland Westernizing for the worse? [16]

How old are you ?

Why do you generalize the issue so much ?

I think ethnicity, race, religion may be a factor but personality is above all.

I am sure there are many Czech, American or Polish women who are compatible with you.

Just don't lose your faith and try to find your girl and don't forget noone is perfect but life is beautiful with mistakes.

History / Territories of eastern Germany should rightfully belong to Poland? [161]

by anology and by all what`s going on in continuity in (at least!) 1000 years we can note that all those invaders on Serbs has common interest to defeat us.

Another example of overestimation. Wake up Crow.

In general, they (Turks, Islamic world, Germans, complete so called west)

None of them needed an alliance at least to defeat Serbs.

Don't be so hopeful.

News / Poland-Turkey Relations, a youtube comment [84]

Give Constantinopol back to Greeks!

Where is constantinopol I couldn't remember it. If you want something come and get it...

In Golubac, his life was taken by the Turks in 1428, the famous Polish knight, the symbol of the courage and honor, Zawisza the Black. Glory to the hero!``

Again a complete nonsense. This time it's from 500 years ago.

those dirty sons of *******.. no honour for such a brave warrior..

Doubling the nonsense. You are both good at this.
