Seanus 15 | 19,706 19 Dec 2009 / #3Misunderstanding and lack of education. Most people who criticise it haven't even read the Talmud or Torah.
Grzegorz_ 51 | 6,161 19 Dec 2009 / #6is it Jewish forum?Well, we have some Jews here, so partly It is :)
SzwedwPolsce 11 | 1,595 19 Dec 2009 / #7This is supposed to be a Polish forum. But still almost all threads contain replies about Jews, Muslims, Arabs, black people etc.Maybe people should try, at least once, to discuss something without involving these subjects.
Seanus 15 | 19,706 19 Dec 2009 / #8I agree, there is LOADS of stuff further down the forum threads on these issues. Folks, please use the checker and search options as there is way too much repetition now.
BrutalButcher - | 390 19 Dec 2009 / #9SzwedwPolsceDon't tell me that on Swedish forums you don't see stuff about Arabs and Blacks!
joepilsudski 26 | 1,389 19 Dec 2009 / #10Why do so many people have got issues with judaism? One simple answer: The state of Israel was founded by Polish and Lithuanian Jews, and it is constantly in the center of many world events, or 'crises', if you will...Plus, a primary reason for the invasion of Poland by Germany was the presence of so many Jews in Poland...Russia had it's own reasons, but this played into it also. There are only a few threads about Jews on PF...95% is other issues or subjects. But it is a controversial subject, and spurs discussion.
Grzegorz_ 51 | 6,161 19 Dec 2009 / #11If we want to discuss serious political/historical issues (not only pierogi & bigos) the Jews, Muslims etc must be mentioned...
PlasticPole 7 | 2,650 19 Dec 2009 / #12Polish forums has it's fair share of threads about Jews due to the unique history of Poland and because Jews lived in Poland for quite a while, so it's natural for people to wonder where the Jews were before they moved to Poland, where did they come from before that. It's understandable. People are curious about what happened after Hadrian destroyed their Temple and if Jews in the middle east are descendants of Israel's original twelve tribes. It's just normal curiosity and questions everyone who knows or wants to know something about Polish/Jewish history has. I've always wondered how the Jews got to Europe, where did they come from, and why their eyes are blue and skin very light. I've also wondered what Old Testament Jews looks like, and the ones in the New Testament.
BrutalButcher - | 390 19 Dec 2009 / #13joepilsudskiDumbest answer ever. So people have Issues with Judaism since/because Israel was founded? There has been antisemitism for centuries...almost milleniums!
Seanus 15 | 19,706 19 Dec 2009 / #14You've always wondered how Jews got to Europe? LOL Ever heard of exile and transport?
PlasticPole 7 | 2,650 19 Dec 2009 / #15LOL Ever heard of exile and transport? Some might have gotten there that way. Perhaps, some were converts. People associate "convert" with "less Jewish". According to Judaic law, that isn't the case. It's alright to admit to being converts.
Seanus 15 | 19,706 19 Dec 2009 / #16Poland and Russia were fertile breeding grounds for them, PP. They cast their net wide across Europe. Any costs that they incurred in getting there were offset rather quickly when they started plying their trades. When's your presentation on Judaism, PP?
PlasticPole 7 | 2,650 20 Dec 2009 / #17Poland and Russia were fertile breeding grounds for them, PP.You forgot Hungary, and at one time, Germany. What you also forgot to mention is the proximity of these places to the the old Khazarian empire.
BrutalButcher - | 390 20 Dec 2009 / #18PlasticPoleYeah, Germany is so close to Southern Russia. I can actually walk from Hamburg to Russia in less than 20 hours!
southern 75 | 7,096 20 Dec 2009 / #20I have no issues with judaism.I just cannot understand how Romans failed.
Seanus 15 | 19,706 20 Dec 2009 / #22The Romans failed in what regard, southern? They controlled so much for so long and every people have their time.Anybody care to outline the central tenets of Judaism? Let's see who's brave enough.
PlasticPole 7 | 2,650 20 Dec 2009 / #23Yeah, Germany is so close to Southern Russia. I can actually walk from Hamburg to Russia in less than 20 hours! It's closer to Hungary which is closer to Khazaria. Khazaria was close to Russia, too. It's almost a given that Hungarian Jews were Khazars.
southern 75 | 7,096 20 Dec 2009 / #24We failed to keep Constantinopol because the West did not help and Russia was a mess at the moment overridden by Mongols and Tatars.
mephias 11 | 304 20 Dec 2009 / #26We failed to keep Constantinopol because the West did not help and Russia was a mess at the moment overridden by Mongols and Tatars.Which west you wanted help. This is the map of Ottoman Empire, you wanted all known world to support you. You ruled and your time was over, get over it.
delphiandomine 88 | 18,430 20 Dec 2009 / #28This is supposed to be a Polish forum. But still almost all threads contain replies about Jews, Muslims, Arabs, black people etc.You might question the wisdom of an administrator who deletes threads about meetups in Poland, yet allows endless threads about EVIL BLACK JEWISH ARABS MURDERING POLES :/
cheehaw 2 | 263 20 Dec 2009 / #29You might question the wisdom of an administrator..I figured it was because there is a big problem in eastern europe with women being abducted and ending up in brothels in Tel Aviv as sex slaves. No need to encourage the problem here. Seems wise to me.
delphiandomine 88 | 18,430 20 Dec 2009 / #30I figured it was because there is a big problem in eastern europe with women being abducted and ending up in brothels in Tel Aviv as sex slaves.Haha, cute. Gotta love internet anti-semtists :)I take it you don't actually know any Jewish people personally?
