If you buy the laptop duty free, you might some money as you are taking it out of the country also.

i use the internet all day everyday here in Poland, and have had no issues with it, i can use skype phone, many internet pages all at once. I think i have a 3mb line though.

i don't know sapphire, but from what my wife has told me, if she was to divorce me or i here, she would have to let the polish government know about it, and i would have to let the Australian government know.

Travel / Disposable Phone and Money Exchange in Poland [5]

Money isn't too much of an issue, there are cash machines, and exchange places everywhere. Just keep a couple hundred on you. that shold be heaps.

You may be able to buy a pre-paid sim card at the airport, if not most phone shops will sell them to you.

Ahh yes thats right, i remember going to Richmond and seeing the Polish centre near Oakleigh, my wife got her wedding dress made by a polish lady out that way.

what i found strange was that we received a little card just before christmas telling us how we should act when the priests arrived for their christmas fund, even down to the last detail of what the kids should say and do. I found this quite strange.

Wroclaw, as you know, just go for a drive outseide Wroclaw, most of it 10 years ago would have been farming land, now its housing estates. not all but the small towns closer to the big ones.
