News / Poland has the highest shopping IQ [46]

Poland, the winning nation, has the highest shopping IQ, where shoppers rarely spend impulsively and are particularly open to alternative brands

it's called being cheap.

News / Adult movie producers looking for 'actresses' in Poland or just a weirdo? [120]

She should call the Police - he's a pervert.

is it illegal to talk about sex? besides, there is nothing wrong with ****. if one wants to watch/participate that is their prerogative, no?

It's called sexual harassment and not sure about Poland but there are laws against that in the UK.

no it's not.. all she has to say is "no". if the lines continue after that then it becomes harassment.

I was wondering if anyone else had heard of this sort of thing happening and to warn others about this guy thats why i gave out the geographic location. I would hate for any other girl to be put in this situation.

some girls would be more then happy to do this and earn the big bucks. it's easy money., lol

I still think that either your girlfriend or her boss should notify the police.

about what???? there was nothing illegal about this.

I think OC spray (tear gas) and such things are legal here (PL) right? Some sort of weapon for defense is a good idea for a girl working alone. Hell a meter long board or pipe by the kasa would work well too in case someone did attack her.

in that case she's be the one who is actually assaulting the other person. from what the author wrote, there were only questions and nothing else. doesn't sound like chargable offence was perpetuated.

I was sorting out the lighting as a student job in a patched-up **** shooting studio in Camden back in the days and most of the actresses were typical London birds who were approached on the streets and in clubs. Nobody ever complained or made a meal out of it. If u don't like, don't do it. period.

exactly!!!

Normal decent people dont go into someones place of work and start spouting obscene sexual fantasies to a complete stranger.
When its an offer to someone from another country it smacks of exploitation.

I just hope that no girl is naive enough to take the guy up on his offer.

no it's not.. look up these words because it seems you may not understand what they mean.

Dull platitudes. You might as well end the thread u started.

ding, ding..

Surely she has the right to go to work and do her job, without sick twats like that harrassing her.

there was no harassment that i can tell from this story.

That's just derogatory and insulting.

how? it's the plain truth and that is all.

Oh don't be coy..

nah, the boat boi is just better then eveyone else. ;)

People who make porno films don't usually have any problems getting 'actresses'. That guy just sounds like a creep.

you have to ask a hundred to get a few. just like anything else.. i bet you haven't gotten laid by everyone you tried to bed.

this happens often in eastern european countries where americans or westerners in general think they can pursuade girls to do anything for money. Sadly, sometimes it happens. :(

this happens all the time all over the world. there is nothing unique about this. and there are plenty willing participants. hey, different strokes for different folks. don't look down on them as i am sure there are plenty of skeletons in your own closet.

News / "EU Politicians Angered By Polish Chemical Castration Plan" [45]

In the USA we do have ways of tracking the offenders. Do you have this in Poland yet? I can search any area and see where they reside after released.

They also cannot live near schools, work that puts them in contact with children and many cannot have contact with children under 18 years of age.

yes, that's fine and dandy but it's basically an honor system and it only works when these offenders are honest.. many are not. in my state, vesides their name and addy you can actually see their picture. it's all on the web too.

Get rid of any of this junk on the net the Wold has no use for this.

obviously millions do have use for it.

So the pedo party will be renamed to castrated party,or the pary of lost heaven?

nambla.. look it up.

It would be a good idea to have a Europe-wide (if not worldwide) system though, due to increased mobility of workers, perhaps based on the American system,

it's not really a system and i feel it's kind of hardly worth it.

News / "EU Politicians Angered By Polish Chemical Castration Plan" [45]

I think it will greatly reduce the crime against children if they know that the
sentence is castoration.. if they dont they are definately in need of psycho
drs ... and locked away for life.

read my post above.. since when was the electric chair a deturrant? it's not neither will be castration.

Prove It.

prove it? just look at the crime statistics in the USA. You can look at TX if you want to narrow your search. they kill more prisoners there then the rest of USA put together and their crime is very, very high. death penalty has 0 influence on crime numbers.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paedophilia is a psychological issue thus cutting of anything will not do a damn thing against it.

Life / AMERICAN-STYLE SLOB CHIC IN POLAND? [24]

'Slob-chic' in America was created by Black Americans and mass-marketed by Jews...Later, some low class White Americans, sometimes referred to as 'Wiggers' adopted this 'fashion-style' and added various touches...

wtf are you talking about.. why just make up ****?

Prague, for instance, is a much cooler place with a lot of chic, flair and a vibrant city life.

sure is losing it's "charm". warsaw and krakow are way better. up and coming if not completely there yet. 3city is up there too.

Life / 'The Pianist' - the movie. What's your opinion? Polanski [59]

Personally find this rather insulting. yep

fair enough but the movie is not about those other background characters is it now? btw. there were plenty of people who didn't fight the nazis.. not every pole was doing what you seem to think they were doing. the fighters were not the majority of Warsovians. so, if you want to be upset about by this movie, that is your prorogative but it sure doesn't mean that the movie was insulting or that it sucked. majority of people who have seen it seem to hold an opposite view to yours.

Life / IS POLAND A GOOD PLACE TO RETIRE IN (FOR A POLONIAN)? [8]

Yes.

from the feeling i see perpetuated around here that would definitely be a NO.

Depends on his level of Polish as most of older people don't know any English.

i can see that but poles aren't the easiest people to get to know, poles can also be quite standoffish and if a person wasn't raised in another country with strict polish values, it would kinda suck to be in PL. imho.

I don't think they should come back.

see what i mean above.. poles can definitely come accross like such arses.

1. i disagree with that too.. there are sanatoriums and all kinds of stuff that retired poles do.. don't be fooled by some here.

News / New Polish Euro Coins [65]

That is actually the line of our government, too. They prefer making war far away from home, as in Afghanistan, so the enemy cannot come directly to us.

that is not the reason for war in afghanistan. check again.

Life / What Flower is Representative of Poland [14]

papaver somniferum is what is (used to be) abundant in PL. that's the one i have always associated with polska. the difference are the big seed pods (heads). none of the other poppies have them.

maybe things have changed though as the one you mention has no medical value thus is legal.

Genealogy / what's so special in Polish people's look? :) [19]

you need to be more observant. it's easy to recognise eastern eu peeps. it is not always easy to differenciate slavs from each other though.
