sure a referendum is the best idea. after all this is democracy right? Things would be more expensive. I was in Holland just after they had changed and they were extremely unhappy about it. Prices got rounded up and salaries rounded down.

u can use skype or yahoo messenger to send sms but the receiver must have their account enabled to accept sms. as well the receiver is charged not the just the sender. to send from your cell phone i believe you just need the country code and the #

yes there are. besides stables of private owners and the police there are some horse drawn carriages. some of the streets even have signs forbidding the use of horses

very interesting. nice to see bangkok in there as well. i wonder if they take air pollution into account as far as quality of life. I love bangkok but the air makes it difficult. thats a funny picture of warsaw. just the old town. not the picture one sees every day living here though

The govt is planning on adopting the euro currency in 2012. Is it a good idea? Can they meet the 2 year requirements necessary previous to the adoptions? Do Poles want the euro?

The Polish government says it wants Poland to adopt the euro in 2012, but opposition to the plan - including from the president - may force a referendum.

The pro-EU government of Prime Minister Donald Tusk approved a roadmap for eurozone entry at a meeting on Tuesday.

But opposition Law and Justice (PiS) leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski and his twin brother, President Lech Kaczynski, favour a referendum on the euro.

Poland committed itself to adopting the euro under its 2004 EU entry terms.

i like polish people and i live here. i just returned from a trip with some friends and they are just so relaxed and open. I do appreciate compared to the secret lives people live in my native country. They play games while driving the car. Very sweet. And people are more than happy to speak english with me and help me with my polish

Poland would gladly share information about security threats to the US

what the US really got at least from cech was full access to the national security database of all citizens and all of their private info as well as the right for us marshals to fly on all airplane flights in their country. i dont think polish people fought so hard for their freedom to give it up so cheaply

yeah i dont see what the problem with gays is... I personally dont care. its their business and it helps the percentages for us straight guys. more gay guys more single women haha
