In Poland a litre of unleaded petrol or a litre of diesel will cost you 4.63 zloty.

That is according to: aaroadwatch.ie/eupetrolprices :)

That's about $1.76 I think...

$6.70 a gallon!! and we are complaining in the US of our prices.

A lot of the food basic necessities are more expensive in PL. But then again most of it is organic and tastes a lot better. You get what you pay for.

A loaf of bread is 1.5 pln, about 80 american pence
A beer is 5 pln which is about 2 american pounds
Petrol has gone down and is a Bargain at 4.10 pln which is about 1 dollar 60
Cigarettes are 8 pln so 4 dollars.

You can live fairly well on 500 pln per week.

you keyed in on the most important economic factor.... the price of a local beer (not imports). AND is the beer good and worth the price, low or high you pay.

Anyone want to list beer prices in the major cities in P-land vs the countryside?

You are welcome. Rent is the money you pay to use something for a period of time.

Works both ways see?

You know I am not sure what people are actually getting because I see a lot of listings that never get rented for the same prices. They seem to prefer and empty flat to lowering the price.

I pay 1400 for a 2 room 40sqm flat in the center but have had it a while. I am seeing 2000in listings for the same.
