History / Another german attack on John Paul II. [49]

John Paul II

He was a Pope, not Christ. Let us first understand this.

There are many Popes. He can be important to a particular sect of Christians. Polish people can derive pride from him (?)... but if they are Christian....they should learn and understand Jesus. And live secular, harmonious life. Harmony, Peace and Unity is the truth of God...

About the Slavic Pope....it doesnt really matter to me. If he was a good man, God will give him good..... otherwise...its between God and him.

Love / How does Polish men feel towards Asian girls?? [137]

pingwin

Hi my friend....where have you been? :)

About the believing and not believing :) ... here is something on that:

I think there are usually 8 Kinds of people living on the same earth, without knowing much about each others existance, even when they are neighbours:

1. The kind of people who see love and marriage as most important when they are pure and everlasting. They will wait for their first (and last) spouse to walk with seeing all the faces of life (pleasure, sweet, bitter and tougher times). These people may or may not be religious.

2. There are people who dont care much about anything. They dont preserve anything for that special person. Sex is fun. Hoping a marriage would last...often doesnt... but then they try again.

3. People who are completely searching tirelessly for fun. Stopping at nothing. They are often afraid of commitment (due to background experiences), and so prefer not to marry.

4. People who are incest. Sick in the mind. Too sick for something are meaningful as marriage (and sex after it...they cant understand any institution whatsoever).

5. People who are too religious. Making it the cause of pain and division.
6. People who are EXTREME. Often not stopping at nothing to make people accept their extreme views. Enslaving themselves and people around them.
7. People who think independently. Strong
8. People who cannot think independently. Weak

Well... this is what I can see. And most interesting thing is that they like to believe that it is only people like them everywhere. They do not know the otherpersons world or nature. Often they dont bother...because they dont believe that the other exists. In the same country....even in the same town.

So... this means... these different groups will exist...without knowing about each other. And they provide themselves with alot of reason so that they can carry on their specific lifestyles.

News / The Impact of Poland joining the EU [64]

I would not even dream of an English or West European girl :) ... Not to hurt anybody here... But I think there is alot of ego/pride..etc etc there....not my kind.

Never saw much Polish men really marrying them (I am sure some do, but not many). Perhaps some dishonest and shamless man goes there, uses a girl there for entertainment, even while having children here (in Poland), and the western girls go ahead with them!!! I have read so much about it in here.

While, I dont like the language of Polish_pride and not being against anybody here. I dont think Aniolek is right about Polish men behind Irish or anyother women in Europe other than Polish themselves! Polish women are perfect, if we need a European in our lives (in the usual manner).

Even the crazy Polish man knows this fact.

not eu

I think EU is not that bad for our economy. Ofcourse if there comes a next best thing (which will come as the world progress), I will vote Poland to join that group!... for the time being, EU is ok.

Ofcourse, I also agree that the Polish people have the right....and we are excercising the right in being in EU. However, a better option is yet to arrive....but surely will. The world always moves forward bringing better.

boyfriend from bangladesh

nice name though :) - BANGladesh :) (not teasing, just taking the fun pronouncing it...must be very amusing people :)). I hope he is Polish now (you people live in here?)

Ok now you have totally lost me

explain.

Giles

I am not against foreighners. I wonder where Polish Pride lives....but sounds like probably in Poland.

About Polish nationalist women... well... women in our country can be very religious and sometimes love Poland more then the men do (not that men love less!).

Look... knowing Poland in UK, and knowing Poland in Poland is different. Just like knowing Poland in the town, and in the interior is different.

I can tell you onething atleast...that me, along with the rest of my Poish friends (in my uni :) ), we dont hate anybody. Accept some upset friends who like it when america gets hit :) (dunno why they enjoy that), and the Real State Dealers from West. I know there was also some protests in few Polish towns on price rises very recently.

And... there are all kinds of girls Giles! Some girls want the man from far away, exotic!....some would want a rich guy (usually in the towns). Majority of people is in the rest of Poland...not in our famous towns.

awful lot of PL girls date asians

Cant agree more. Once I whispered this point here in the Polish forums....but never felt like discussing about it :S ... however, always felt a hunch that Polish girls like the people from East.... :) .... usually Asia for that matter. Well...they like to imagine atleast!

Maybe because Europe is Europe.... is you want someone European, Polish is here... other than a Pole... if you look for someone different....then it is supposed to be different.

I dont mind people making their independent choices....I never felt any problem with this. Actually no Polish man I know has any problem with this!... which I am quite HAPPY and PROUD to write :). We are very much filled with self belief...and we are confident.... we feel free when we let people free.

Were not all bimbos with big tits and blonde hair (like on American T.V)

I dont watch much TV... but I have my own opinion. If I need someone European...I prefer Polish - and I am not the only Polish man who thinks like this :) - trust me :). ... Hope you have a good day today!... I am sure you are a wonderful person.

Life / what are the statistics on sexual abuse of children in Poland? [33]

true...but often it hits the poorest!

In the big towns, perhaps you will see a cleaner picture. Or maybe in our towns, we know better ways to hide. Maybe because we are more educated and intelligent(?) in the towns.

USA, Canada / do polish girls like the canadians when they visit? [34]

kasa is nooo problem for me

Then what are you worried about anyways?

See... there are always more than one world that exists in the same country. Specially in this age of 'No Culture' (as I see it). Their are people who are very religious and most pure hearted, there are people who are not so pure but religious, people who are not religious or pure (but not very bad people), people who are selfish and restless (many, the MONEY type :) ), and people who are bad in all sectors.

You will find your kind of girl. Dont worry.

Life / what are the statistics on sexual abuse of children in Poland? [33]

mamma mia

I am quite God fearing... and I love children...and respect religions and their moral values (which are pure from God, not mixed and managed by people to their own liking).

But still... as far as I see ... sexual abuse of children does happen in Poland...mostly by the Church authorities... the names come out are big. So, very often... the Polish people and government...to keep the respect of the important personalities (with whome the name and dignity of a very important national institution is so closely attached) hide the entire matter.

But... as some say... hiding is the worse we can do.

Poland needs to get out of many bindings... specially... the Church of Rome (my personal view point).

LoneStranger.

aginst priest

Often the most nice ol' priests...and they are all state secrets... however again, often known by most natives, settled in small towns of that particular/specific rural society. But then, people hide...out of shame, fear, shock of all kinds! ... and ofcourse, they try to be their loyal best.

If we want unity, we must remove prejudice and mistrust in all its forms. Which means we must accept people, and open our minds. Not just for the European, but also for any other people of the world.

Unity must be realised in its wholesome value. Otherwise a partial unity is nothing but another segment.

Try to love someone next time...who is less outgoing, less party life kinda guy.

Why am I saying this... because two planets cannot be on the same orbit.

If you understand this... you will understand what happened with you, and how to recover.

Good Luck :)

Correct my dear sister!

Lust and Love is different. But you need a strong person to be able to walk ahead in life in the right direction. Otherwise ... there is confusion. Confusion is worse than hell...

religions need to do some changes

I agree with you.

But I kind of think that they do change with time. Afterall it is the rule of nature isnt it? We all change.

One upon a time man had big body hair. Big teeth. Money like face. A totally different appearence. Then slowly our bodies changed... we became more evolved. Now we stand here... and I will not be surprised (please no racist comment on this) if actually people evolve further to become one single race. And I think people will accept that too as they have accepted the present condition of their bodies.

A child takes birth. His body changes with time...the face changes... every aspect grows and decays.

Although, I call these changes as evolution! I think, people dont really change, but their are becoming more actual. We as humans are always growing into something more complete, both mentally, physically and spiritually. We are blossoming...

A caterpillar also evolves into a butterfly.... and a bud blossoms to a rose. No one can stop this progress... progress is the journey of man and all creations of God.

So religion surely grows too. :)

Abraham came...Moses came, Jesus came... all brough new and more modern laws (relative to their time of revealation). If you study Islam, then it was quite a modern religion in its own time (although it is clearly outdated laws now, and very badly handled by its believers. This religion has lost its charm... perhaps because all its laws are not compatible with the modern world).

However, I am studying Baha'i reigion now. I am a free minded person, and I study religions. Baha'i religion seems to have many answers to alot of questions, and it is logical...

here is a link: bahai.org.pl
also: bahai.org

It gives a good explanation about the evolution of religion and laws from God. About how it is rhytmic and systematic, and also progressive.

If you are interested about prophecies, please note: bci.org/prophecy-fulfilled

Studying with an open heart and an open mind is good. Increases knowledge.

Anyways...you made a very intelligent comment espana :) :)

Life / Polish denial of reality - is it a national trade? [117]

i will not lower myself to racism and 'warnings' to foreigners.

This is good.

It is only the 2 here that ive ever met have such sentiments worded with hatred.

That is the point. Hatred nd inciteful wording come out of mouths which are no more in control by the brain, or inspired by the heart. Such instances occur with people who have given up with the situation...and people who are momentarily frustrated. She seemed frustrated to me...

Wroclow is one of our better cities. I am happy to hear that they are very satisfied. Although as far as I know, not many people are satisfied.

flashy cars in poland -with Polish registrations - too many for them to be all blow ins or foreign investors

Ofcourse we have rich people...too rich! There is economic imbalance. The lions share of Poles are not anywhere near them. I wonder if you will agree to this...

Have a nice time. Good luck.

Life / Polish denial of reality - is it a national trade? [117]

To my knowlgde there are lot of Polish people who are doing bussiness with foreigners and they are busy working.

True.

But house/home is not the same issue as working abroad or just working. It is a difference issue.

One needs to see the reality of Poland closely.

People are not anti-foreign. It is about an internal change that people are looking towards.

However, if you want to think that this is just a minority who is thinking like this. Then you are free to think that way, but it is not important that you are correct thinking like that.

the very rights that allow a small number of overseas investors buy a small amount of polish real estate are the self same rights that allow hoards of poles to overwhelm other european countries in search of labour - you take away one, you take away the other

Working abroad, buying shares in the market, buying industries/factories etc is certainly different than buying real states. A flat/house is supposed to be home for someone. This makes a real state different than other categories of business and work. A flat/house is very (too much) closely linked to a persons emotions.

Why worry about a small number, who screams the loudest?

I also think the same way. But only when it is a small number. It the number is big, then we should think (instead of worrying). Thinking and discussing freely is a human virtue. If the reality is not what we want it to be, even then it is still a reality.

How can I turn my face away from it when I can see clearly that this thought DOES exist in the Polish Youth and it is growing everyday?

I again say, there is no uncomfortable feeling that I share for anyone here... I would like to say: All of you (and I mean all) are dear people, FRIENDS! ... but if there is a certain issue breeding in Poland (specially the Polish youth in universities), then it just is!...

However... I do resent all words and sentences which have went to far as to hurt feelings.

Kind Regards,

LoneStranger.
