Like addition to Culture, Cuisine, Custom, Industry, Science, Literature, Art, Etc.

Reminder, this is not a topic for what Poland gets from the EU in the form of grants, aid etc. were talking export here :)

Poland can contribute fresh and organic food, provided it's not prevented by other countries from exporting.

GlasVegas... Majority of people are quite nice, but you can't let them take advantage of you, as anywhere else in the UK, I suppose...

BTW, as usual, this thread is drifting away from its main path...

Polish food due to migration has found itself on the selves of many local and 'high'street shops in western europe for eg.

from sweets to meats all good for eats! :)

However, how about the automotive industry? Polska Fiat? Polonia? what is the status today of these companies?

Is poland exporting Coal to the market for eg?
Steel an industry at all?

The brain drain? are many educated leaving? like docter, engineers, accountants?

Oh, so you've met one......lol

Polands biggest contribution;....as Irelands was over many decades/centuries to the world/UK/europe...was/willbe its people.....end of.

They will be the yardstick by which Poland will be measured.....

Western and Eastern companies are investing in Poland (whenever bureaucracy lets them to :/ ) there are assembly plants, be it automotive, electronic or anything else, hovewer many Poles are discouraged by wages offered and choose emigration instead

Besides food I think cars and chemicals are the major exports. It was estimated in 2006 that auto export achieved 14 billion euro. (16% of total national exports)Germany buys 40% od these.

Leading auto companies:

Volkswagen MP Polkowice
Fiat Auto Poland
Isuzu Motors Polska
Volkswagen Polska
Volvo Poland in Wrocław
Daewoo-FSO

ArturSzastak - the next Boniek???

With all due respect, A. Lepper is a VIP and believe it or not he still has some power to influence the EU.
