got talking to a couple of Czech girls in my local in the summer and when they were going they said, we're going to sample your national disaster dish - F&S...thought that was so funny...

I have to say the food in Wroclaw was much nicer than in Krakow I found more restaurants that were actually Polish as a posed to Italian, Italian, Italian oh and an Italian, my friend wasn't too happy that I had fried cabbage the day we got the flight home though....I know too much info!

Travel / Best place to get polish currency and Bielsko-Biala? [13]

johnny501

Marks & Spencers generally has the best currency rates, at the moment the ForEx rate isnt good because a lot of Polish are going home for xmas it should be about 5.8 to 6 to the pound usually but at the moment its about 5.4 - 5.6 wait till last minute or do as Frank says join the Nationwide they dont charge abroad...it'll probably pick up after xmas.

Amathyst not all polish people do it

I know that, thats why I made a point of saying I know Polish people who are very nice, it was just the ones at the airport. lets face it if you have a reservation youre going to get on the plane I see no reason to push and shove, I have never come across it anywhere else apart from Poland.

so we need the immigration for our economy to continue to grow.

Well, a lot of English women opt to have kids later since its all a matter of life style and not wanting to scronge off the state!!!! Oh and then theres the matter of finding someone normal....

Also I would say that whilst there are a lot of English that go to live abroard, I would say that a lot of them are elderly and retiring.

I don't have any financial problems and i'm lucky enough to get FREE invitation from girls to posh restaurants

Srounging off women, thats just terrible.

Love / I'm so burnt out from american women and I love Polish ones [30]

All surgery comes with risks, but if you have a good surgen, do your research then the risks are lowered - also a good surgen will do a good job and not make you look like you have hit Gforce - look at some of US's 50 something actresses who look fab, do you really think that they havent been under the knife?? Botox is the norm in the UK and 7 out of 10 men and women have it now.

two bagger is an unatractive person, okay not a nice term, granted.

if two people hit if off and get it on then fine, you cannot make someone like you it has to be a reciprical thing or its a non starter, the guy you speak about seems like he has committment issues and that will never change.

I personally think that men like a women who looks after herself, lets face it no bloke wants a two bagger, I advocate cosmetic surgery, because if we can improve on something that we are not happy with why the hell shouldnt we do something about it.

I like to dress up I like to make the best of myself, I too am in my 30is and single but enjoy life and if Mr right comes along then great but Im not settling for second best just to conform, being single doesnt mean that you are lonely, someone can be in a relationship and feel alone.

I believe that having standards is a good thing and bolo should stick to what he wants and not settle, being picky is a good thing I have friends who are desparate to get married and I think men can smell the desparation on them.

As for high maintenance, thats something a bloke made up!!

ultralight

maybe youre just meeting the wrong women, I could say I think that all men a selfish lying pr*cks but that wouldnt be true - too much generalising going on, I have met some lovely guys and some really horrid ones, wouldnt life be boring if we were all the same.

Life / The strangest things in Poland [468]

I have been to Poland twice, the first time no one clapped but this time both ways they clapped, I dont get it I have travelled to my countries and never come across the whole clapping thing.

This doesnt come under strange things, it comes under damn right rude things, do Polish people have an aversion to personal space?? and at the airport - both in Liverpool and Wroclaw I found the people queuing were rude to a point where I was actually starting to lose my temper they were trying to push infront and getting a bit too close, if I didnt have Polish friends I can honestly say I wouldnt have a good opinion of Poles, but the Polish people I know are very nice.

Also bad service this must be a regional thing because in Wroclaw the service was brilliant, they were very helpful in the stores and in the restaurants they were there at the table as soon as you sat down.

News / Fake Polish Passports? [11]

I don't think that a passport is difficult to get in Poland though. Why would a PL person need a fake one?

they dont, its peope from none EU countries that are using Polising Passports to gain entry to EU countries..

News / Fake Polish Passports? [11]

it wasnt just Poland she got passports from other countries too, the Polish pass port was the most expensive though at 600 pounds. It just makes you think about the figures we have in the UK about Polish people living here, how many are on fake / stolen passports from former Eastern Block countries

Oi my dad is british and i was born in Uk.. who the hell you saying this to me fuc**** poles

We know this UK, but you seem to think you have the right to tell people to get out of this country when in fact your mother was an immigrant who had a child here so what is the difference, do you have figures on how many of these Polish women had English partners / husbands or if some were English women married to Polish men...same situation as you only the big difference is they are legal immigrants here in this country in their own right.

What about family chain immagration wth Pakistanis????????

I have Polish friends so it would seem they integrate quite well...they are westernised and practically exactly the same as English...no real cultural differences...I wont point out the differences between Pakistanis and English it would take too long.

Life / Are Polish People Racist? [1037]

I say keep them in Israel. I don't want them in Poland.

Well tough, they are there and there to stay and have been there for a very long time.....and a cock like you wont make any difference whatsoever!

And yes I have jewish ancestors.....and yes I am proud of this...The Jews dont sit about moaning about everything, they go where ever they have to, set up thriving businesses and do very well thank you very much! Oh BTW a Polish shop has just opened in the most Jewish area there is in North Manchester...so it would seem the Polish over in the UK dont mind mingling with them...

Love / Feminism effects both sexes in a different way - opinions? [115]

I rather like what we call here the 'Old World charm', for ex., having the door opened for me, having my escort pick up the tab, men who stand when a woman enters the room (no jokes here please). When these actions are accompanied by true respect, this is a beautiful world.

I totally agree with the above.

I also say that each person should have their own view without being barated by other forum members and posts turning into a joke...this is supposed to be a debate and a conversation about feminism and what it means to women.
