Will sex-scandal in Self-Defence mark the end of coalition in Poland?

Sex-scandal in the populist Self-Defence took another turn when the woman accusing the leader of the party deputy PM Andrzej Lepper and Stanislaw Lyzwinski, one of the party MPs, of sex abuse stated that the MP is the father of her child and demanded child alimony. Andrzej Lepper continues to deny press allegations that women from the party's office had to perform sexual favours for party leaders, himself included, but he announced that he would have a serious talk with Mr Lyzwinski. The Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski stated in a radio interview that he could not imagine further cooperation with Andrzej Lepper if the accusations were confirmed. Prosecutors’ office in Lodz started official enquiry in the matter. Today’s issue of the popular Gazeta Wyborcza daily which started the affair brings more details and testimonies concerning the scandal.

This woman Aneta Krawczyk had sex with PRIME MINISTER

This woman Aneta Krawczyk had sex with PRIME MINISTER Andrzej Lepper, she is the woman who will probably end politician career of this yahoo man Lepper, and I'm glad that finely get off the stage! This woman will probably end coalition and what is next, the post-comunist party could come back to mastership of the country, what is no good situation, And it's great opportiunity to come back for Kwaśniewski

Warsaw- Andrzej Lepper, Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture, along with a senior member of his populist Samoobrona (Self Defence) farmers' party were this week fighting off sex-for-work allegations. State prosecutors launched an investigation into the unsavoury allegations, which have brought into question Samoobrona's future in the turbulent three-party coalition government of Law and Justice (PiS) Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski.

The developments have also cast a dark shadow on the PiS's promise to push through a sweeping "moral revolution" to rid public life of unlawful activities.

Former Samoobrona local councillor Aneta krawczyk alleges that in 2001 she was recruited by Samoobrona parliamentary deputy Stanislaw Lyzwinski to work in his constituency office after having sex with both him and Samoobrona leader Lepper. At the time, the latter did not hold a government post.

I think that the whole thing could be provoked by "ducks" to make Andrew more submissive.

do you think that Kwasniewski can come back?

Hopefully not.

Hopefully not.

I know he won't but at least the country was not divided during his presidency, so perhaps somebody similar to him, perhaps not a former communist:)

I'm afraid that status quo will be retained by PiS. They won't give up their majority in the Parliament too easily.

Looks like we have a new Monika Lewinski. I always wonder what women like that are thinking. Were they paid to do that? Where they victims of the situation?

Let's wait for the DNA tests results. It's said that Lyzwinski is not father of that woman's child, but I afraid that something had happened there anyway. Or is it just PiS's provocation ?

I live in Poland and I'm native Polish. And this sex scandal is not important for me, coz generally is not my businuess. I think that is just provocation. Even if Lyżwiński will be father this child what we can do......? nothing. This scandal in my opionion is a ,,fighting'' between parties. Summary: politicies and government don't care about nationals. And talknig about this scandal is just nurts for me.

That picture wasn't representative for her looks. Maybe she doesn't look like Miss Universe, but I wouldn't call her ugly.

I guess that they are often vistims of the situation. I suppose that power - that is what really attract them.
I remmebr romance with Prescot ( home secretary) and woman working in his office. It was so sad and unpleaseant he wanted to have quick sex with her nothing more. I don't really know what she was expecting....

But these women usually end up with quite much money few interviews for tabloids, some photos.....

Am I right the situation as it stands is that her child isn’t ‘theirs’ and so the debate is now whether her claim that she was forced to have sex with them is true or not?

How can that be proved in this situation, where the act is likely to have taken place behind ‘closed doors’ so to speak.

I ask as I would genuinely like to understand the Polish political situation- based on my understanding it’s ’Right wing Polish minority government in deep dodah over accusations of bribes and sleaze‘

Is that correct?
