WOOOHHHEEE POLAND IN A WEEK...holiday

I'm a good mood because in less than a week I'll be back at home in my flat in the Tri-city area and chilling. I cannot wait. Its great when ever I go to Poland I put on weight, hurray, i just eat non stop and wash it all down with beer and vodka. Also of to see the masseur (proper massage, not the other kind). Then down to the sunbed to cancerify myself a bit more. And time to go car shopping so am juggling between getting one of them Volvo 60's or a 3 series BMW. My dream car I still can't afford but hey soon, soon, soon. My friends just brought a new Porsche and it rocks, so thats my goal for next year.

Boy I'm in a good mood, hopefully I'll get down to see Arka Gdynia with the lads and that is always mayhem. When i wake up in Polska in my apartment and look at my Polish missus i know I'm a lucky, lucky man. Hurray.

I'm gonna start snooping for work, but hopefully the family have something planned.
I do think I'm probably going to do the teaching thingy for a year so as to get myself registered and legal in Polska, but its not what I wanna do for long.

And then come end of March I'll be moving over permanently, wicked. Bring it on.

casper - im here at the moment - went out in gdansk to celebrate my birthday and am still hungover... to old for that sh*t... :)

I seem to have developed an internet stalker, this character called "Britishman". Who seems to want to denigrate everything I say, whatever, if it makes him happy. Though it must be a lonely life to derive such pleasure from such petty irrelevance. most bizarre.

I wouldn't worry if I were you. There are some people here who try to make ones feel miserable. They are probably unhappy themselves.

Previously I got annoyed, but to be straight it reminds me of playground bullying and name calling so best just to ignore them. I'd like these heros to actually meet me and hurl their insults and snide comments. But like you said they must just be unhappy cowards and either young or very immature. In my working life I have to deal with confrontation all the time, so its irritating when it invades my personnel sphere.

I suppose the difference here is that I use my time on these forums for discussion and to learn from others experience, whilst these strange people actually waste their own time being unconstructive on an internet forum, very odd. Actually perhaps we should pity them since that must have very few friends and are probably lonely people hoping for interaction with others. I'll forgive him and his ignorance, perhaps its just a phase, or a depression or even a mental illness. Poor,poor man.

casper thanks for your kind words, I Tried to make contact with you at the venue you mentioned on another thread.. alias the reponse I got was "not that paki again" who are you casper not taking your medication again...and pretending not who you are?

? You've lost me totally. I'm confused what are on about. How can you make contact with me if I'm only there Friday and Saturdays? and whats the "paki" comment about, really confused. Did you phone the venue? Or just turn up? seriously explain, I'm confused.

Hey {atty, just tp say am safe and sound and with family in grey Polska. Its all overcast, but not cold. i'm relaxing as per usual and chilling with my nephews (4 & 7), they are a delight. It becomes harder to return to the UK each time, but I know I'm close only a few months now and I'll be a pewrmenant resident, can wait. hope everythings good with you. i'll be back on line full time in a week.

I was booked on a flight to go to Gdansk today(from Liverpool)but i'm nervous of flying and i was in the airport but last minute i changed my mind,it was a big mistake because the girl of my dreams was waiting in Gdansk:)

I'm probably going to get jumped all over by the homophobes on this forum.
But whilst on vacation one of my friends who is an English teacher for one of the Bell schools in the Tri-city area (she's Polish by the way), took my missus and I with two of her boyfriends who happen to be gay (big deal!). Anyways we went to a club called 69, (I know a little crass for a name but hey). Anyway said club, 69 is in Sopot and having visited most of the other places it was really cool.

Since the Sphinks club these days seems to be for base speed driven drug munching ravers and no longer quite the sophisticat place it used to be this little club 69 was excellent. It had a mixed straight/gay crowd was really friendly and had good music.

The other little venues we've been to recently include Mandarynka which is okay, but its all lables, flashing the cash and rather unfriendly. And Soho which is cool.

have yet to visit VIVA club and don't think I will. Shame the beach club has shut down, but it is winter. Appparently it has not got a liceince for next year so maybe no Cococabana next summer...disaster. Anyway thats my brief Sopot club resume.
