Snowboarding in Poland

I love the winter season. The summer is ok, but I wait for the winter...crisp air the quietness when it's snowing...enjoying hot drinks...snuggling by the fireplace. The winter for me is magical....and ofcouse I'm a snowboarder...so it's needed :)

I had the greatest time snowboarding in Poland. It's so beautiful in the mountains. I'd hate to live in the UK during this time of year. You don't get snow right?

Remember Gonzo? He was jailed for murder right? I've tried skating on these new decks and it's similar to the old freestyle decks...now I suck...lol maybe a kick flip or two...that's all. I'm just amazed at the crap they pull off now.

You don't get snow right

lol, yes we do

Where's the closest snow to the UK?

Scotland closest

or you can take your pick from

France
Switzland
Austria
Italy
Slovakia
Poland
or even Czech rep.
oh and Bulgaria

all about 2 / 3 hours away...France is probably the preference as its resonable and Bulgaria is cheap.

Snowboarding isn't looking so good in PL this season. Kinda warm lately.

Skiing in Scotland is not that good. Its Ok for a day or 2 but I wouldn't dream of going there for a weeks holiday. The snow is also pretty unreliable too - its usually that windy it gets blown away! It would be better to save up and get a last minute deal to the Alps.

Are any of the Polish ski resorts expected to open soon?
