Life / "No sex before 18" in Poland? [25]

What is a great catholic in ur mind anyway cucko?

As long as you go to church every sunday, and confession before every major holiday, you're fine in my mind.

You see more and more people lose their religion these days... :[

Life / I feel the gay rights movement is constrained Poland [90]

Takes one to know one

Really? Even the ones that walk around wearing glitter and 3 gallons of hair-gel and have that "gay lisp" and call everybody honey?

I thought everyone could tell those guys were gay...

USA, Canada / New York trip suggestions [56]

Well one girlfriend, and a couple of the girls decided that they can just spill their hearts out to me, so a lot of my day now is being spent listening to their problems over the phone...I'm too nice to say "SHUT THE F*CK UP YOU STUPID C*NT I DONT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS!" to their faces.

You can search for naked cowboy...

Fine, but very tired. Football, school, the ladies, it's taking its toll...

USA, Canada / New York trip suggestions [56]

Well the place is so big you can't possibly see the whole thing, and appreciate it, in one visit, so going a few times is nice.

Isn't the Metropolitan Museum in NY also? Or is that another name for the Museum of Modern Art?

Life / Whippet dogs in Poland? [18]

Umm...no...actually wtf is a whippet?

All I know is that we like our sheep dogs along with our half dog/half wolf hybrids. (my parents each had one as children in Poland, my cousins also had them)

Is that actually pretty popular in Poland? Half wolf half dog?

Genealogy / how many know their own family histories? [139]

Mate, you must be salivating waiting for that sabre to come to you.

Hell yeah. I plan on going to it before it comes to me.

These sabres are rare as hen's teeth and go for 10's of thousands

Damn... 8/

(not that you'd ever sell it).

NOT A SNOWBALL'S CHANCE IN HELL. Way too much history and pride in that thing.

Any chance of posting piccies of the sabre?

My friend if I had any pictures I would gladly share them, trouble is that it is in Poland, and I'm in the states...

What have you checked, have you ever been to the NJ Archives?

Nope...might check it out in the future though. Good thought. :]

UK, Ireland / FT: UK labour fears as migrants go home [7]

turn their back on Britain

Right...they're really letting the Brits down. Many of those people wanted them to leave. What the problem is?

I like that they are going back to Poland though. Glad to know they aren't abandoning their country :]

Life / The strangest things in Poland [468]

The strangest things in Poland

Tourists...actually toursists anywhere are always strange. They always seem to wear a visor, sun glasses, short shorts, high socks, sandals, and a hawaiian shirt. They always have that smile on their face like they are enjoying where they are, but you can tell they just want to get back to the hotel and sit down because their feet hurt.

History / Where do Polands non Jewish victims go? [64]

They were busy partying on the "Aryan" side.

Yes...you obviously know your history. Jews were loaded onto trains going west, Poles onto trains going east. Jews went to concentration camps, Poles to gulags.

Both of the places were tools of the devil, designed to obliterate a group of people. Equal evils committed by different groups. Nazis killed Jews and Poles, predominantly Jews, but Russians killed Poless and Jews, predominantly Poles.

Polish sons with blonde hair and blue eyes were taken from their mothers and given to German parents. For years, even before WW2, Russians practiced "Russification" of all people under their control, including Poles.

The Holocaust should represent all evil deeds committed in the 30s and 40s. No one group should claim they were the only ones affected. Anything not Aryan was believed to be sub-human by the Nazis; that means Slavs, gypsies, Jews, etc.

Anything not white and Christian was expendible to them and were eventually going to be destroyed if they had their way.

Jews were not the only victims. Poles were not the only victims. The museums should be dedicated to all victims and to those who fought bravely to save them.

Life / Are there many atheists and agnostics in Poland? [47]

Decisions should b based on facts not faith!

That is an opinion. The majority of people in Poland believe in their faith and will fight for what they believe in. Why should you try and change that. It may not be for you but you aren't living there so you shouldn't care really.

Just my 2 cents...

Life / Are there many atheists and agnostics in Poland? [47]

Yes but there is something very chivalric about how religious the eastern countries are in today's world. I think countries like Poland and Slovakia and the others in that area are the only countries in the world today who have an opportunity to be able to perfectly balance out religion with modern day theology. They have old values, and are getting new education and technology and have a chance to retain some of the old with their new.

I hope they do. The western countries are already past that point.

dont tell me what to do.....where r u 4rm anyway?

Nowy Targ...why do you care? Yes I'm Polish. You should just leave this forum and go join the anti-indian forums somewhere else.

The Polish people here like to respect others, obviously something you have trouble with.

Life / Are there many atheists and agnostics in Poland? [47]

Thats the thing with being very devout. It obviously has its good points and its bad. Like the modern American is influenced by technology and the media, leading to a lazier person who wants more money for less work, while the average latino is more influenced by the church which makes them harder workers and more family oriented.

Everything has its ups and downs.

Thats what embassies around the world are like genious. As soon as you step foot onto embassy soil you are in that country's property, not Polish. They legally own the very earth their building sits on. Thats how all embassies are. Get used to it.

Life / Pope Jan Paweł II [16]

I really liked the one that had Cary Elwes as middle aged John Paul. He could actually make a decent attempt at a Polish accent. I'm not sure if John Voight was in this one its been a year or 2 since I've seen it.

I hope this conversation stays positive and is representative of Poland's history of being tolerant of all kinds of religious beliefs

I'm actually quite proud of that fact. You know we were really ahead of our time. We accepted people regardless of religion in a time when wars were fought over religion.

Protestant VS Catholic
Christian VS Jew
Christian VS Muslim
Etc. VS Etc.

Only in the past few years have most people come to accept others regardless of religion. I think its great that the Polish nobles we so open to others back in the day.

Love / BLACK GUYS POLISH WOMEN [809]

Polish chicks' attractions to black men?!

I always thought blacks liked chicken...When did chickens take a liking to our colored friends?

( its not a racist comment, Dave Chappelle said it on live tv, that means its ok for anyone to say it :p )

While we are on the topic of race, I'd just like to clear something up.

Racism- the hate/disliking of a specific racial group

Race related comments- stereotypes like blacks like chicken, all latinos in America are illegals, all muslims are terrorists, and white people can't jump

Just because a comment includes a color, doesn't mean it is racist. You are stupid if you think it does. Most "racial" things people say are merely race related, and just because it has color commentary people freak out and call it racism.

Please stop the ignorance. Most blacks, latinos, etc. I know can take a joke, and they can dish them out. So unless you are sincerely offended quit your b*tchin.

(that was for everyone. I've noticed a lot of white people will be quick to hit the racism button as soon as the word "black" is mentioned while a black guy could care less if a white guy called him black, depending on context)

Race is a stupid topic anyway. Scientific studies have found that slavs are more closely related with Iranians than any other people, blacks with aboriginies in australia, and basques, who are the original "whities" are more related to Cro-Magnon (who was black) than any other group of people known to exist today.

FYI, basques appeared in the Spain/France area and spread from there.

Germans and Aryans were closely related to another colored group but I can't remember who they were exactly so you can do some research.

All this of course is based on migrations of groups of people from one area to the next. For example, some Iranians moved towards the caspian and became known as Sycthians, who then moved a little further south and became Sarmatians, who are said to be the ancestors of todays Slavs.

you polish do u think its good saying rubbish to blacks?

Saying one group of people smells...with a name like Keith Jr. is a very stupid thing to do. Let me guess....you made up the "Keith" part. It's just Jr. You are southern, live in a trailor park, and take a bath only after you're finished using the tub to make moonshine.

Here's the twist: Your mother's your sister...

Am I right or am I right?
