sunka 2 | 6 22 Mar 2008 / #1pls can somebody tell me,how to make a hot beer, and when i was in zakpaney, lasy year i was drinking a strong dark colured beer, does anybody know the name of this lovely beer.
Krzysztof 2 | 973 22 Mar 2008 / #2there are probably regional variants of it, so I'm not sure how they serve it in Zakopane, in my area it's simply beer (normal pilsner, yellow not brown), sugar, egg (not sure if whole or only yolks), I'd have to ask my parents, because I prefer my beer bitter and cool), put in a pot, heated on an oven. I haven't seen my folks add any herbs.

LondonChick 31 | 1133 23 Mar 2008 / #5tell me more about this... I like the sound of hot beer... anyone got a decent recipe?
Hawk 23 Mar 2008 / #6Three simple recipes used by my family (sorry if something looks wrong, I got few words from dictionary, I may wrote it in polish if you want):a) Take beer, heat it up very slowly (or it will wallop), add some sugar (depends how sweet you like it, I'm adding 2 tsp for every half liter of beer) and keep mixing it together. Drink when warm enough.b) Take small amount of beer, put 5-6 cloves in it (you may use less or more depending on your likings), heat it up till it boils. Now got to a) and add it all to the rest of beer when heating it up.c) Just like in a) but add some 100% natural raspberry juice instead of sugar.
