Can a foreigner become a police officer in Poland?

I would like to live in Poland but I was wondering if a foreigner or a permanent resident could become a police officer? Does any department accept foreigners or do they all require you to be a citizen.

Are you kidding? First for any of those things every record and every parking fine and whatever you did in any country is scrutinized to the nth degree. You need to speak good polish too, some foreign language isn't going to do jack for you. It just goes on and on. Why ask about citizenship, do you know of a country where someone can just turn up and be a cop without knowing the ins and outs of tbe country?

I realize I would have to be fluent in Polish to even be considered. I don't understand why your getting so defensive about it I was just wondering.

I think Poland is a great country, I don't expect to just walk in and get handed a police officer job. I have an interest in law enforcent and would like to serve in Poland, that's all.

As to your question. I have no idea. I guess you would have to be a Polish citizen for starters.

You have to be a Polish national, of good character and be physically and mentally fit in order to become a Polish policeman. However, have a look at what is happening in the police force, recently they have been up in arms.

I have worked Police officer, monitoring the city by cameras in one country. I am fluent in English but don't know Polish language. is it possible for considering me to the Police employee in Poland or not?

You would certainly need a very good ability in Polish and need to be an EU citizen legally resident in Poland.
