Any good tips for last minute UK or Ireland flights from Warsaw? I am familiar with Skyscanner. Just wondered if there were any local offices or services with super deals.

Ryanair.com, obviously.

Make sure you read up about their scams and ripoffs.

I have never found good prices with Ryanair. They never have anything when and where I want.

I am familiar with Skyscanner.

I used to use those price comparison last minute deal types of sites but just dont bother anymore as i found them a bit of a waste of time. If the usual carriers need to fill seats at the last minute they'll list the prices on their own repective websites.

Warsaw - Uk you have: easyjet, wizz air, ryanair. The usual suspects.

yeah its not very often that they have last minute deals as theyre so good at filling up their planes, it does happen though, worth a look.

Btw. there have been small changes in check-in arrangements at Chopin Airport:

"As of Wednesday 1 August, passengers no longer check in for their flights in the departures hall in the old part of Terminal A, as all check-ins have been moved to the new part of the building.

Other facilities relocated from the old part of the terminal building (zone A,B) include airline and tour operator offices, a post office, the left luggage office and lost and found office.

The changes are part of the preparations to close zone A,B of Terminal A. Work on the old part of the building with a distinctive, claret roof is due to start in September. The old terminal will be integrated with the new part of the building (zone C,D,E) to form a single, architecturally and functionally coherent structure."

Drat. As of last week the only bank machines were in that part. Let's hope they've got their act together to put one in the new bit, though frankly they may well not have. Also the waiting time to go through security was much quicker if you walked through to the old bit.

There are at least four bank machines in the new part. There are two by the toilets on the right (right side as you walk in) on the departures level and another two on the arrivals level (at the far left as you face the doors out of the building).

Personally I'll be sorry to see the old terminal go, I like it quite a bit.

That's probably why I didn't notice them.

Same here.
