What can I say/do about my Polish neighbours in the UK?

Once more, Joker, the Poles don't have a monopoly on playing loud music etc.
A tough call, but if ringing them doesn't work, knocking on the door of their flat doesn't either, then the note inside the lift idea might do the trick:-)

More like drunk driving is their forte.
Our dear Polish neighbor kid was drunk driving 135 mph on a residential street, he hit a van full of children and killed 4 people and himself.

This just happened a few weeks ago. So don't lecture me about immigrants in my country!

r, then the note inside the lift idea might do the trick:-)

Or a nice baseball bat will do the trick:)

Xenophobic prattle harms all of us, Joker! Had you, say, moved to Turkey for instance, and continued practicing your "heathen" British ways, such as walking about in casual wear into a mosque, allowing your wife/girlfriend to walk onto a holy site uncovered, joking about the scowling omnipresent visage of Ataturk all of the place (which remains forbidden under penalty of fine or incarceration), don't you honestly think your overwhelmingly Turkish neighbors might strenuously object and be quite vocal about it??!

Thank you. It really should be a rule of the forum that claims are always backed up by a relevant source.

In my opinion, anyone driving over the speed limit, especially at such a speed is a d*ck. 135 mph is insane !

However, unless someone can show that a disproportionate number of Poles in the US are speed demons then I'm not sure what point Joker was making.

An update, decided to let it slide even though of course it flared up at Easter weekend, then clamed down, but past week again has gone to extreme noise, I can hear the children in every room in the flat, and the parents loud voices on top, its not thin walls so they must just be making huge amounts of noise.

I have recovered a little bit from my health issues (the medication made me feel drunk all the time so the noise didn't help) and the nice weather has relaxed me a little so will go up tomorrow, im thinking now I said that its the nice weather that is making the kids noisy, and it sounds like the parents are having friends round due to nice weather bringing their own kids.

I still think its very rude as they can't be ignorant enough to not realise if the noise is high in their flat then people below will get it too.

I have started making random noises back at them though as that annoyed it must be having an effect as each time I do I hear male adult voice sounding irritated.

Blow up a paper bag and burst it on the floor (not a bit with carpets). They will hear that.

Sounds like the child is already showing signs of growing up to be a typical polish man. Big forehead and dumb as hell!! It's no surprise he's constant running into things and finding it funny. In Poland you see men head butting lamp posts - yep that's a regular Friday night for these muppets. You won't offend the parents who probably don't care.

The Polish are ignorant and thick so just knock on the door, smack the kid upside the head. If the wife is hot (the women normally are) grab her titty, and tell the polish man he is Kurwa. Job done.

Best luck. And remember, your sleep is more important.

Remember, if you are English and living in your own country you can no longer say anything about other cultures or religions otherwise you are automatically racist.

Good luck

Stop whining and if you have a noise complaint then make it to your local council. . No need to mention nationality is there?

Yes there is. guests and migrants should be respectful of their host countries rules and customs. or be deported.

What a stupid notion. Immigrants as well as natives are only humans. They should be held to the same standards as everybody else.

Rubbish. A nation-state is like a house. With particular rules and customs of the owners (the native tribe) . If I am in your house I guess i can **** on your floor and molest your daughter and you can't ask me to leave because 'we are all human' lol. A huggy fluff brainless concept.

Learn to read before you post.
I said 'to the same standard'. I don't know about you but I don't sh*t on the floor or molest kids.

If someone commits a crime they should be arrested and go to court. If the court decides that way they should be deported but being a noisy neighbour' hardly applies.

A nation-state

A what? What do you mean by that? Using that idea they build a welfare state and liberal democracy both have little to do with a nation state.

Anyway what Australia has to do with a nation?

What? A nation-state can have different political systems. Liberal democracy is one of them but it's not exclusive. Australia is a new nation-state stemming from the english enlightment tradition. Is your idea of a 'righteous' polish state run by Oboz-Narodowo Radykalny under the Falanga flag?

Are you suggesting you aren't a racist?

A nation state can mean a lot of different things. I'm asking what it means to you.

I already stated that a nation-state is like a house and that obviously implies shared values. You don't get to ask further questions without providing your definition first.

Ah, you don't know. Should have said so.

I feel for you as right now there are three tenants living in a studio opposite mine and not a surprise they are Polish. Those three are illegally living there as only one shown on the tenancy contract though two people maximum are allowed living in the studio. A mother, her adult son and his girlfriend. Her son and his girlfriend are the problems, very loud talking, slamming doors, music is on the loudest mode, etc. They are drunk, rude, inconsiderate, create noises ALL THE TIME. I honestly don't understand WHY Polish in particular love making noises to annoy neighbours.

WHY Polish in particular love making noises to annoy neighbours.

It is not their fault that walls in British houses are so thin. The British don`t have to build thick walls like in Poland coz their winters are much milder.

Your English is that of a foreigner.
You are a troll.!

walls in British houses are so thin

You are so ignorant....why don't you shut up instead of talking rubbish?

why don't you shut up

Will you deny that sound insulation between flats in most British houses is poor?

The difference is houses and flats.which you seem.to.be confused by.
I live in a house.With very thick.walls.
Most.people.In Britain live in houses.
In Poland, most people live in flats.
When I have visited relatives in Poland, the ones who lived in houses mainly had very solid walls.
The ones in flats, you could hear next doors cat.........

Of course not. You have old data. Time to refresh it - 55% Poles live in detached houses. Ha!

Poles live in detached houses

And those houses are way better in quality then those rat holes in UK.
