This model in the 70s

Yes, 50 years old. Amasing.

Scotland/Wales?

Yes, Scotland. You are still not sure after reading the plate??? In Poland we see GD on the plate and immediately we know it is from GdaƄsk.

How can I tell? There is nothing in that plate to tell it's from Scotland.

Sounds like a Pole's opinion of Scotland to me.

How can I tell?

Is this Scottish like Dutch to you and you can recognise their plates only by the flag sign??? :):):)

But the number plate isn't shown in the original pic of the van. You only gave the reg number in post #450. If I'd seen the flag sign of course I'd have known it was a Scottish plate.

That's an older model 2012 van and the MA it starts with in the reg corresponds to Manchester/Merseyside.

Looks like it's painted up to suggest a police car. Is it from a monitoring company or maybe a car breakdown service?
OP pawian  220 | 24927

suggest a police car

Exactly, that is why I took this photo. It isn`t a police car but its owner made it look so for very practical reasons. Namely, what??

No monitoring, I already said no to security guess before.

Car breakdown service? Bailiffs/debt collectors?
OP pawian  220 | 24927
22 Aug 2024 #478
Sorry, no.
Car breakdown service drives big yellow trucks.
Debt collectors are not so conspicuous in Poland to drive unusually painted cars.

Hint: The mock police car`s practicality is limited strictly to road context. It is supposed to warn and deter other drivers. What for???

Against speeding?

You are getting close coz the mock police car look is supposed to make drivers slow down. But still the riddle is - who drives the car if it isn`t the police or anybody involved in security/road safety etc???
