Anyone who gets persuaded by two unknown girls to go into a club and buy them drinks - should think whether his reasoning or another part of his anatomy drove him to do that.

LOL ! I used to leave close to one of these places, got "invited" there dozens of times (the "girls" were changing often) and each time knew after 2 seconds that's it's scam. People falling for it must have no brain.

Hard Candy proves too hard for some visitors. A hard nut to crack, sort of.......

Are police in Cracow that corrupt or that ineffective? How does this place not get closed down?

Is Cracow just a rotten, crooked city?

the same naive wide eyed expat who denies there are no oligarchs in poland has the same naive wide eyed response about krakow. *shocked. yes it's rotten in the tourist areas but nothing compared to the tri-city and the mafia there.

I ask myself the same question.

About a year ago (between lockdowns, anyway) the city council in Warsaw stopped the women who used to stand outside the seedy joints tempting customers in. Whenever I go to Kraków, I see them out in full force.

It can't be that hard to stop, and it isn't hard at all to remove a bar's alcohol licence.

If it is still working after so many years, despite all this bad reputation and warnings, it means there are legal grounds for its existence. Was anybody robbed at gun point? No.

avoid offer of "free" shot ( spiked )

How do you know it was spiked? Did you have it or yourself tested for illegal substances?
