I am going to poland for 2 wks. Want to research my ancestors towns in the Przasnysz area and thought of staying north of warsaw in something quaint? Does anything like this exist or should I just find a regular hotel in Ciechanow?

I think it exist but you'd have to know at least a little Polish, I'm afraid. The safest and least stressuf for you would be to take an inexpensive hotel in Ciechanow and start from there.

After 14 years, Przasnysz can boast of 3 hotels. Not too luxurious but still good enough to avoid travelling to other places for accommodation.
