Comming to Poland Soon.. interested in medicine studies

Hi all, 1st of all I'm Jimon from Eastern India.. I'm much interested in medicine field and so i think i will study in poland.. I've heard much about University Of Warsaw.. I might go there for my future study.. My intention of coming poland is ; I wanna be a Successful Doctor, live in Poland And Marry Someone there..[well i've heard people are religious and faithful in relationship there].. I haven't really heard about Medical University in Warsaw but I know that the ones in Poznan, Lodz and Krakow are probably the best ones.

None of them are particularly good - they are known as diploma mills for a good reason.

Jimon - the medical profession in Poland knows that the English language programmes are a total joke. If you graduate one of them, you're not going to find work in Poland - no-one will touch you with a bargepole.

Well, as far as I know Polish Medical universities aren't that great. My last girlfriend studied at Warsaw Medical University and she wasn't all that happy. She also had trouble getting into a decent hospital, so she finally moved to Peru. As I remember, she also worked in India and Nepal. So don't expect too much. I suggest you better try in US, UK or Australia. Also, from language point of view, those countries will suit you more. As of Polish society, they are still very closed to be honest. And thanks to the media and Church, people are so full of ignorance. Of course, exceptions are everywhere but its a tough call. So please think twice thrice before you take this step.

yea, that's right, everyone in Poland watches the TV and goes to Church and believes everything they are told.

OP if you wanna come to Poland do, there's a decent Medical school in Katowice but you won't get a job here afterwards, you'll have to go somewhere else. The vast majority of Med students in Kato are Canadian & Asian so I presume they just head home after finishing their courses and get job. Or ya'know you could just join an army for a few years and get you Dr. qualifications there.

It's a lot to do with the quality of the courses - it's an open secret that you can just buy your education in Poland in medical school because the international students contribute so much cash to the university - and the universities don't pay the teachers anything extra.
