Crystal0701 20 May 2021 #1I requested a reservation of a studio flat from September 2020 until July 2021. However, due to the COVID situations, i had to leave Poland and so I provided the owner a vacating notice in January 2021 and vacated the flat in February 2021 wherein the rent for February as well was paid by me. The landlord is now raising a legal case mentioning that i have to pay until July 2021 inspite of providing a vacating notice. Please guide on tenant's property rights in Poland. Thank you.

Cargo pants 3 | 1,486 20 May 2021 #5You think the landlord will be a smart person to file a case and get judgement? And even if she comes back what can he do??? First find her then get komurnik to confiscate her ogorki jar for 5 Pln to recover after he is paid 4/600pln?He is just scaring her typical Polish landlord crap.

OP Crystal0701 22 May 2021 #7Thanks for your points of advice. however, i do not have any intention of returning back to Poland again and am living and studying in the UK now. After I left, they mentioned that i should find another tenant so that they get the rent. I didn't have that much time at hand to do that.
