Anyone ever eaten there?

Yes,very remotely Polish but more with American touch.I think illegal Polish waitresses and mexicans in the kitchen.

In all likelihood.
However the chlodnik as well as the placki ziemniaczne tasted pretty authentic to me.
Then again, I wasn't raised in a Polish household:-)

mexicans in the kitchen

It's my understanding that in the US kitchen staff in pretty much any type of restaurant is made up of Mexicans.... doesn't matter if it's Traditional American or Chinese or Indian or Middle Eastern or Italian... go in the kitchen and it's Mexicans.

kitchen staff

Nowadays there are more and more 'dark kitchens' often on industrial estates. The restaurants just heat it up and sprinkle a bit of parsley on.

Happens in Poland a lot too.
