What is the opinion of Argentina in particular, and Southern America, in Poland?

Another separate question that I wanted to ask is: is this true that Argentina is a popular and liked country in Poland? Is it Argentina in particular, or Southern America in general?

It is certainly not disliked - most people will have a positive and romantic view of Argentina - tango and steak and Messi plus quite a big Polonia. There is one Argentine star on the Polish TV - a judge on Poland's Got Talent :)

There are no negative connotations connected with it. Argentinian culture is stereotypically considered attractive. Famous rock group Maanam had a song Amazing Buenos.

My thoughts on South America in general.. Sensing too much love for socialism. No strategic thinking and leadership. Lack of individualism and prone to corruption; things only can be done through (military) force.

Argentina and Brazil are different, like Spain and Portugal.

Yes, that sums up South America but they can lean to fascism too.


Exactly, one speaks Spanish and the other Portuguese.I prefer the Portuguese speakers.They are more laid back than their Spanish neighbours.
